I'll be there in spirit (I'd be there in reality if I could afford the airfare )

We usually go to TGI's on July 4th - its the nearest thing we can get to going to America

I did a July 4th party once. I was 7 months pregnant with Ellis and we did a fancy dress aprty. I went as the statue of liberty. Painted my face and arms green, I had a foam hat with the liberty spikes and made a torch and book. Didnt need any padding - Ellis provided the big round body

Neils went as a convict from Alcatraz, other friends came as Al Capone, Dorothy from wizard of oz, hawaian girl, loads of others. Got some great photos but no scanner

I decorated the garden with american flags, photocopied dollars extra large nd hung them up like bunting, did all american food, it was great fun.

Makes me want to do it all again

That sounds like a lot of fun. You need to get a scanner and start putting up all those pics.

It sounds like we're all planning on flying the same days and that's what we'll need for a group rate or charter! We'll just have to find out what days Nancy and family are planning on.

I thought Nancy herself was planning on going down earlier and/or staying later. I bet the kids would be with us though.

Too much I'm afraid or we'd be there in a shot

We've jsut about got the money now for the flights at xmas - Neils working next bank hol and then we'll be sorted for that and pay that one off.

Still got to pay for car hire yet too and park passes

Yeah right. I bought a book called Passporter's Treasure Hunts. It's a great book. I love it. It has all the parks, ships, CC, resorts and DD. Scott and I are going to do the ones for the parks when we are there in a couple of weeks. I'm not peeking at those answers. But I have to look at some of these answers.

IF, notice that is a BIG IF, we go, we would have to do it before Xmas. Depending on what DS's school schedule is like, we would look at the weekend right before. I think you guys are down there at that time.

We fly down on the afternoon flight on Fri. Dec. 19. Our first night we are staying off grounds to save some points and then we check into Saratoga Springs on Sat. I am hoping that Rachel will not have school the 22 and 23 which is why I booked this this way but even if she does it will be a good "practice run" to see how things go with missing some days in high school.

Only 6 months? It seems like I haven't seen everyone in forever! 18 months can't pass fast enough.

O.K., I just pulled the biscuit canister to look at the Nutrion Facts.

For 2 biscuits:

Fiber <1 gram
Calories 100
Fat 1 gram (0 saturated)​

So if I figure for 1 biscuit (that would equate to 1 big donut and a ball) it would be:

Fiber <1 gram
Calories 50
Fat 1/2 gram​

Not sure how many points that calculates out to.

Like I said, I need to check the oil consumption to figure how much of that to count in. It doesn't seem like a lot, but I'm unsure.

I use Peanut, is there a lower or better oil to use?

The biscuit itself would be 1 WW point.

I'm not sure about a better oil...safflower maybe? It would affect the taste a bit I'm sure.

It's around $900-$1000, so 450-500 in your currency.

I see it as low as $855 but you'd have 2 stops.

Don't feel bad Karen...I see the MNSSHP as about the only way to get to show DS part of WDW in the next 2-3 years...I have no idea when we'll be able to afford to take him down to all the parks. BOB may be our last cruise so we can save up for a WDW trip....
