I still laugh when I think this is my girl who wore a dress every night on the cruise.

Congratulations to Emily and her team :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Lovely photos Melody. Looks like you all had a great time.

Does anyone have any of the Hidden Mickeys books? I have been thinking of getting one of those too. I think the Passporter Treasure Hunt book and a Hidden Mickey book might be a nice Mother's Day present :thumbsup2 (Rachel are you reading this ;) )

our ds bought one at wdw last xmas and they had a blast looking for mickeys.
we were going to borrow it in feb but forgot.

I know we will be closed through Sunday the 4th, but would love to have off on the 22nd and 23rd.

If that is the case, we may be able to head to FL before Xmas and see Karen, Neil and Ellis since after Xmas is so darn expensive.

Suz says we'll be in on those days though. But if Xmas was on a Wednesday, we'd probably have the whole 2 weeks off.

I'm really shocked we don't have next year's schedule yet. They've had it out earlier than this all the other years.

Ooops, if I had read back and gotten caught up I wouldn't have had to ask if you were going at Christmas time.

We don't get Rachel's school schedule for the next school year until they get out of school in June. I have even called the office and they just tell me they don't have any info on days off yet :confused3 I don't understand how they can't know for this next year yet.

Thanks for the birthday wishes and the other greetings........:goodvibes

About 18 months before we adopted Angelina, we were in the process of adopting another baby girl(Barbara Jean--BJ). We went through the last 4 months of the mother's pregnancy and was at the hospital before the mother even arrived there to give birth. When BJ was born, we were told she had a 50/50 chance of survival. BJ was rushed to Children's Hospital in Philadelphia, and we followed close behind. To make a long story short, BJ was born with a form of dwarfism and needed to have surgery to expand her chest cavitity. The surgery went well, but BJ developed a staph infection and passed away a few weeks later. I have a picture of me, holding my sweet baby girl, on the inside cover of my Bible. This pic was taken the night before she passed away. :sad1:

The birth mother signed over all rights to Hazel and I shortly after BJ was born, we named her Barbara Jean, after Hazel's sister Barbara, and my sister Vicki's middle name is Jean. We buried BJ next to our first daughter, and her sister, Kristen Marie.

Rest in Peace my sweet baby girls

Lori you should have alot of fun at Horizons! We haven't had time to try it yet but they also have a nice looking mini golf course right there too. They also have daily activities too. The only time we have stayed there so far we had friends with us that have never been to Orlando so we hit the parks everyday and did some swimming but that's all we had time for.

Yep, I got that one too. This trip will be very busy trying to find everything. Alex and Julia and Harrison will be pulling us to ride things and we will be like just a minute I think I see it.:rotfl2:

Great pictures Melody!

I know you probably remember that...can you believe that was three years ago?

Well, grab a tissue and check out this video I made the other day. Be sure your sound is turned up.

What a beatiful video! I am an ultrasound tech and I get into the NICU quite often to scan the tiny little premies and it is always amazing to me what miracles they are :grouphug:

We fly down on the afternoon flight on Fri. Dec. 19. Our first night we are staying off grounds to save some points and then we check into Saratoga Springs on Sat. I am hoping that Rachel will not have school the 22 and 23 which is why I booked this this way but even if she does it will be a good "practice run" to see how things go with missing some days in high school.

Cheryl,
One thing I can think about is at least find out when finals are. The high school here has them that last week before Christmas, but they are also getting out on the 19th. Does your school district have a website? Ours does and has next years calander posted there.

Becky I just checked our school calendar again on the district website and they still only have this years calendar on there. I know we are safe on the exam issue, I checked into that before planning our Christmas trip. The high school has their exams and the quarter ends here the middle to end of Jan.

I think I'm all caught up here now. It's a beautiful morning here I think I'll get the dog out for a walk before we have to get ready for Rach's musical. Have a great Sun. everyone!

After yesterdays' cold and rainy day...we have a really beautiful day here in the UK. Rick has cut the lawn and replaced the outside tap (faucet) and I cooked lunch (roast chicken).

Have a great day everyone....hope the wedding went ok.
