So I just got off the phone with DCL. Had to make some dining changes.

Just had my life flash before me eyes. I was on my way home after dropping DD off at school and was getting ready to make a left hand turn onto our street when a man driving an RV ran through the traffic light. I slammed on my brakes and laid on the horn, the RV kept going and came within inches of wiping out our car and me. My heart is still racing, that was a close one......

I guess someone was in a hurry to start his vacation.........

No, he just kept going, was probably on his way to the gas station to fill the RV up so he and his family could head out on a nice vacation. He almost didn't make it now, did he?

Heather - I may take you up on that dieting buddy offer...I need all the support I can get! I'm such a wimp....

Mary - If you're still reading....lots of cabins left on our cruise! You may end up with Jeff as a tablemate though...

Well, I will be gone from the thread for 2 1/2 weeks in August. Plus, the 3-4 weeks before that is year-end (we're 6/30 here) and my audit. So only about 3 months of me. Can you all handle that?

Karen, looks like Jen has moved you off my table. Although, if I were to get a Mod at my table, would that be liking having to eat lunch with the teacher?

If you would have stayed on last night and it was closed before Karen got back on it, I think you would have over taken her. She was at 386 I think before this morning's little incident.

Welcome to any of the newbies that I missed in the past few days.

Hope I didn't miss too much on the end of thread #4.

Heather, I did catch a glimpse of your beautiful flowers. Nice job woman!! Too bad you're too far away or we would've hired you for the weddings. In answer to your question about Karen, I believe there was a situation where Karen's dress blew up around her while she was walking up the stairs on our cruise last year. Mike keeps teasing her that he had a video camera running at the time. (I think it also happened to Sistah Paige too).

Andy, glad you are safe. I almost bit the dust a few weeks ago when someone went barreling through a stop sign and missed my car by inches.

I'll work on posting a few Bachelorette party pictures today if I have a little time.

I'm also shaking my head at my co-worker. She was gone at a trade show this week (in FLORIDA!) and she brought me back some food treats (small wine bottles, chocolate, peanuts, cookies, teas) which I appreciate the thought, but I'm starting tomorrow (well, sort of starting today really) getting back on track.

The cookies weren't that great, had a couple bites and threw it in the trash.

The chocolate bar was yummy sad2: ) Last splurge for a while - I promise!

The peanuts are being hidden and forgotten about, the teas are staying in my desk drawer, and the wine is going home to DH.
