Just had my life flash before me eyes. I was on my way home after dropping DD off at school and was getting ready to make a left hand turn onto our street when a man driving an RV ran through the traffic light. I slammed on my brakes and laid on the horn, the RV kept going and came within inches of wiping out our car and me. My heart is still racing, that was a close one......

I guess someone was in a hurry to start his vacation.........

Yep! - been there 3 days running now. Have bought lots of new pots for the garden. The ones I liked were $150 each, (and I needed 5) but I found some others that were half the price and equally as nice.

Today we fetched all the compost - Neil was grumbling about paying for "dirt"

Wait til he realizes we need loads more stuff yet.... bark, mulch, chippings, fencing edging, slate, the list goes on...... and so does the plant buying

I know you knew Mary. I was going to put a comment in like, "I though you Mods were robots and just monitored 24/7."

I couldn't imagine monitoring all these threads. It's hard enough just keeping up with this one.

I nominate Andy (Verandah Man) for being a Mod once he retires in a couple years. You'd have fun with that, wouldn't you Andy?
