It's a busy week end here. Helped decorate for a wedding reception, walked for an hour, sat in the sun, laundry- now I need to shower and figure out what to wear. I refuse to buy any clothes until I drop a few lbs. Least I forget catching up from page 35!

Great minds think alike! I was already planning on asking her about the MW 330 day rule for a group rate. I just hope Midwest doesn't fold like some of the other smaller airlines recently did (Belling was talking about how this the other day).
I didn't think about the bus but I did think about checking to see if we could get a group rate at a hotel by the port. I agree with you part of the fun about planning a trip is finding a deal and getting those costs down too

Oh, I've been thinking about MW folding when they were so arrogant about the AT plan to purchase. They CAN NOT survive on their own. AT will kill them in this market.

AT is already adding a lot more flights and going right at them.

Now this week MW announces laying off 150 or so.

The weather forecasters were off a bit, they were calling for sun and a high of 75* right now, we have the sun and it is 85* making it 87* in the house at the present time. It was nice and cool this morning at 52* so I shut the air off. If the promised cold front dosen't come through soon, the A/C is going back on, as the humidity is starting to make it feel a bit uncomfortable.

The cold front isn't coming through fast enough for me, so the A/C is back on. Not sure when the cold front is expected to pass and I wasn't taking any chances...........

My youngest just signed the dotted lin yesterday with ROTC. He is finishing his second year at FSU. So now they will pay hit tuition for the next two year!!! Not lots of $$, but any thing helps. He is so excited!! He also has to go to boot camp this summer. I don't like that he will be gone for a whole month of his summer, but I guess they have to grow up!

Congrats to your son! and your pocketbook... My Emily is in JROTC at her high school. They actually won their drill competition today! They all looked so nice in their unforms. I will post pics if I can get them loaded--I used a different camera.

Just snuck a peek at webcams near Nancy's area. Looks like it's overcast but no rain yet Hopefully it holds off for the wedding

It's 3:00 now here and it hasn't rained a drop. I think they actually are having a great day - 60*+ and very little wind. It is just beautiful out today.

As I'm sitting here eating leftover Sweet and Sour Pork from last night, it reminded me of something. When Angelina got home last night she showed me an envelope that she had won during a raffle at the findraiser. Inside the envelope there were two $5.00 gifts certificates to our local Chinese Restaurant...........

We're trying to figure out what to do tonight for dinner. Suz pulled out a couple of NY Strips to grill, but neither of us feels like cooking today.

We have gift certificates to several places. I'd say Outback, but I could just grill the steak here. Maybe we'll go for Chinese. I wanted it last night, so maybe tonight I'll win.
