Thanks Andy I am glad to hear that you are ok! I didn't read your post but got some insight into what happened from others posting about it.




Well, my husband, the GEEK, is in charge of computers He got blu-ray disc burners in them as well as many other geeky stuff. Mine is loaded with graphics stuff. We also use huge programs so we need a lot of RAM. Personally I wouldn't have spent so much but there are things that I am in charge of and things that Rob is in charge of and we let the one in charge do the decision making.




I think I will just stay out of it and cheer you guys on


So maybe my luck is changing, I got another order for a baby cake today I gotta go shopping for a turtle plushie now

Cass - sorry to hear about your computer trouble - that's extremely frustrating.

Cass, my DH is in charge of the computers too. He says, we need this - and he gets it and hooks it up.

Hi Mark.

Long time no talk.

Not raining down here yet. It was suppose to start yesterday afternoon, but we haven't seen a drop yet.

Cheryl was going to check with MW for a group deal on MW to FL, but they won't do any committments until we're at the 330 day mark. Might as well just fend for ourselves at that point since everyone else in WI will be going for those flights.

Wonder if AirTran would work with us?

Although, if we know our exact count, wonder what a charter on our own would go for. What are we up to now? I know between Nancy (with both kids/spouses), Us and Cheryl, we're at 13. Jen I think is at least 8. How many do you got? Wonder at what point you talk to them about something? 50?

We have 9 for sure (last time my mom flew out of St. Louis with her friend, so I don't want to count her yet).

Wouldn't that be cool? A BOB charter!

I nominate Jeff to look into that (with the thought that it will keep him off the boards long enough for our team to catch up )!

Happy Saturday

Had a lazy start to the day.

I wrecked my diet last night - 4 wines and about 15 cheesey pastry puffs - I'm really annoyed at myself so I'm not weighing myself now just incase.

Off to help Ellis with his homework

I ended up eating about 5-6 cookies' worth of cookie dough when I planned for 2 in my points

However - I'm going to end up working pretty hard today raking leaves at the family cottage, so I will atone for my "sins"

We're right on the edge of a storm passing through, so I don't know if Thomas's soccer practice will get rained out today. I hope not - he thinks it's so fun!

Well, I should get going....maybe even back to bed. It's only 5:30 am right now...but I couldn't sleep so I thought I'd check the DIS and the weather...

Good monring Jen...I was doing the same thing...checking on the weather for the soccer games. Where playing no matter what..only lightening will stop us today. We've missed 2 weekends already. The fields are going to be terrible and the older kids will trash them but Lets Play!!!!

The start of your day, sounds just like mine. I had to drag myself out of bed this morning to see what our kitty cat was crying, poor thing, her food bowl was empty. Well, she a happy camper now, with a full belly........

Laundry, good thing you reminded me, I have to get that done today while Hazel is away for the weekend. I have to make sure I have clean work clothes for next week..........

Sounds good to me!

I called the Y yesterday (that's who runs this program) and they said they play through the rain - they'll only cancel if there's thunder/lightning.

Our program had some scheduling issues too....long story, but our schools are having 2 Saturday make up days since they used more snow days than were budgeted for in the calendar, so that messed up the soccer schedule.
