Hey maybe my luck is turning around...my websites are back up :woohoo:

Cass, so sorry to hear of your troubles :sad2: but happy to hear things are looking a bit brighter!!! ;)

Brenda  earthquakes can be scary.

Even living in CA they scare me every once in awhile.
Devin was just a month old when the LomaPrieta hit. I lived a good 70 miles away and it felt like I was riding a wave.
A couple of months ago they had one in San Jose, about 50 miles away, and I was watching TV while Sean was sleeping. It felt like someone shoved the bed real hard. He slept right through it, but then again he slept through the tornado in Atlanta last month too.:rolleyes1

Andy, love the new picture. It came out really nice.

Jeff, made my plane reservations for home today. Good thing I used my Southwest Points because I plan on stowing away on CC.

We don't get to choose how spicey it is, but I like mine to have a "little" kick to it.

I ordered two dinners tonight, and one of them was enough for Lina and I, so we have the second one for tomorrow, or an hour from now.........:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Isn't that what they say about Chinese - you get full but are hungry later?

I tried indirectly to have Chinese for dinner tonight, but Suz already had fish made. I would have much rather had the Chinese.

OMG 44 fricken pages!!! :scared1:  :scared1:  You guys going for the DIS record or something?? :lmao:

So, my hard drive is toast, I've lost all my email, favourites and the files that I had. :sad1:

And Rob's computer is acting up too so we ended up buying two brand new computers from Dell  Spending $8K on computers was not planned :sad2: And now he wants a new laptop because it was acting up real bad in Toronto this past week :headache: And to top it all off, we need to get a new server this week, which is another $800 :scared:

I wish I could say no to all of that but we both NEED computers. And he needs a laptop that works when he is away on business. He has 2 more week-long trips planned in the next 2 months.

And if our luck isn't bad enough, I just found out last night that my website is down. Which affects my business as well :guilty: I sent in a support ticket to my host but might take awhile to figure out the problem.

So in case you are wondering why the BOB logos and pages aren't working, that would be it!

Because my site is down, I can't even get email. I tired the other day to access my webmail but it didn't work and now I know why :sad2:

Can anyone tell that I am a teeny tiny bit frustrated??? :confused3 :rolleyes1

Hi Cass.

Not going for any record, but I do believe by the time we sail, the total of our threads will eclipse that of the mighty EB repo threads.

Sorry to hear about your computer problems. $8k for 2 computers, what the heck are you putting in them. We bought a new one for our graphics person and I think we spent only $2. Those things are pretty powerful for very little money now days.

Just hang out here with us and we'll bring your spirits up.

Hey Jeff, what team was I on again??? :rolleyes1

Well this competition is for groups of 3.

It start as just Andy and I against Karen and Jen, but then I said they could have 3 against us 2. I said Shelley would be a good pick for their 3rd because of the posts she put up on the earlier threads.

Then we formed a team of Lori, Nancy and Tanya.

You can join with whatever 2 people you want.

Someone throughout it should be boys vs. girls, but Mike and Chris weren't around and it would be hard to sort Walt/Di's posts.

Heather has a lot, so she'd be a good pick. If Mike shows up, you may want him on your team.

Good job on getting the flight back. Are you going back into LA? I couldn't remember if you were driving down or not. Or was Steve taking you down. :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

We booked our flights both ways as soon as they came out. I probably could have saved the miles we used for the one-way tickets and waited for AirTran to come out, but I wanted to be guaranteed the time, so we went with Midwest. AirTran moves their times all over the place. :sad2:

Anyhow, AT would have only cost me around $125-$130. Instead, I spent 15,000 miles each for 3 one-way tickets on MW. MW was around $248 for that one-way when we booked it, so good value for the points based on their price, bad value on cheapest flight on any airline. Oh well, we're going. Plus, AT didn't have a night flight out. We leave at 8:30 p.m., arriving at 10:44 p.m.

Just checked MW's site, that flight now costs $421 one-way. :scared1: Even better value for my miles.

Oh sure, for fun I go check out AT's site. Now they have a 7:27-9:42p.m. flight (I'd rather go an hour earlier) and they only cost $118 one-way ($124 if I buy the seat assignment). Man I gotta quit looking over there.

Maybe I should see what it would cost to have the miles put back in the account.

Hey Everyone!!!

Sorry to be ignoring everyone lately. Been pretty busy at work with the promotion and now that its soccer season we have practices Mon through Thurs and games on Saturdays and Sundays. Im also the president of our local youth soccer assocaition so Im pretty busy with schedules, practices, etc..

Jeff - Im building an Ark. Gonna be floating through your area soon if the rain keeps up.

Chineese or Fish? We choose fish. We have a little amish restaurant just down the road from us out in the middle of the country. AWESOME Friday night fish fry.

Hey Bobaloosers!! Hows everyone been doing? Havent even had a chance to logon on their lately. Still doing good here. Stalled out at 40 lbs and maintained there the last month. Had some soreness on my knee that had ACL surgery 2 years ago so i had to ease up on the dreadmill. Feeling better now. Started up again....slowly loosing again the last week or so. Up to about 45 now. :yay:

Not sure if Janice has mentioned it or not but we have at least 3 more families from the Tomah area that are going to be booking with us. Hows the private plane for Wis Disers coming Jeff?

Talk to everyone later.

Mark

Well, looks like no one is around to talk, so I will head down stairs and watch t.v. with Suz.

I'll check back later.

Hi Mark.

Long time no talk.

Not raining down here yet. It was suppose to start yesterday afternoon, but we haven't seen a drop yet.

Cheryl was going to check with MW for a group deal on MW to FL, but they won't do any committments until we're at the 330 day mark. Might as well just fend for ourselves at that point since everyone else in WI will be going for those flights.

Wonder if AirTran would work with us? :scratchin

Although, if we know our exact count, wonder what a charter on our own would go for. What are we up to now? I know between Nancy (with both kids/spouses), Us and Cheryl, we're at 13. Jen I think is at least 8. How many do you got? Wonder at what point you talk to them about something? 50? :confused3

Thanks Andy  I am glad to hear that you are ok! I didn't read your post but got some insight into what happened from others posting about it.

Well, my husband, the GEEK, is in charge of computers :rolleyes1 He got blu-ray disc burners in them as well as many other geeky stuff. Mine is loaded with graphics stuff. We also use huge programs so we need a lot of RAM. Personally I wouldn't have spent so much but there are things that I am in charge of and things that Rob is in charge of and we let the one in charge do the decision making. :thumbsup2

I think I will just stay out of it and cheer you guys on :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

So maybe my luck is changing, I got another order for a baby cake today :woohoo: I gotta go shopping for a turtle plushie now :rolleyes1

Been raining pretty steady and hard here since yesterday. Pretty wet. Sounds like through tomorrow and then clearing off tomorrow night.

We have 4, two other families have 4 each = 12 plus another family that hasnt said for sure but sounds promising is 3 = 15 here.

Southwest FINALLY came out with their schedule through Oct 30 today. We are flying home into Sacramento. Our flight leaves at 5:30 pm so that means a short day at WDW.:cool1: We get into Sac at 9:35 pm, it was the shortest of all the flights. We were looking at over 9 hr flights with the layovers, this one is not quite 7.
By the way did you get your Mickey Mail yet? I haven't received it yet and I am getting peaved.

Suz has a friend (who is a tax client of mine) that is interested. That would be 3 more. So we'd be at 31 before Jen's family.

That is A LOT!

Maybe a Regional Jet. They are 2x2 and seat about 50. Concerned about the luggage capacity though. That might work. Problem would be what they do with it after we get dropped off and how do they get back down to get us.

I t could be done.

Just checked, Midwest had CRJ-200's (50 seats, 2x2, and flies 488 mph). They also have 717's (88 seats, 2x2 - larger seats, and flies 504 mph). Both are jets.

The CRJ actually has a longer effective range (600 miles more).

AirTran puts more seats in their planes so it would take more to fill it.

Delta has 40 and 50 passenger CRJ-200's that fly 530 mph. It says they hold 314 cu ft of luggage - not sure how much that is. It doesn't give a weight.

They have 70 passenger CRJ-700's as well. They fly 544 mph and have 438 cu ft of cargo space.

They have a larger CRJ-900 that has 12 first class seats, seats a total of 76 people, but has a whopping 530 cu ft of cargo.

If we can get even 40 people, at $150 each, that would be $6000 ($3000 each way). Not sure if that would cover it or not. Even if we went $200 each ($8000 total, $4000 each way), we'd still get our own plane and our own schedule.

If you go with Delta, they can then use the plane in the Southeast since they hub in Atlanta. Might be a cheaper alternative. :thumbsup2

I posted a week or two ago that I received it. You must not have been on.

The one nice thing about being in Milwaukee, we get non-stop with two different airlines to both LA and MCO.

O.K., I'm out again.

Check back later.

Andy, what happened to you? Thought you'd be on tonight.

I laid down on the couch about 8pm and just woke up (9:45) to the sound of my cell phone, "When you wish upon a star" dang thing, it was a wrong number........:headache: :headache: :headache:

I guess I was more tired than I thought.........:lmao:

Howdy there Mark, it was nice hearing from you again!!! :thumbsup2
