Update on Sean's grandma:

Sean's mom just called. Grandma is going to be released in the next few days to a skilled nursing facility for some physical therapy and getting as back on her feet as she can. She is off dialysis:cool1: which to me is amazing since she was in total failure this time last week. After her time in the nursing facility, they are hoping she will be well enough to move into a assisted living facility. So we will see, keeping our fingers crossed.

thats great,:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Hey Carrie!

I may have missed you already but good luck!

Can I ask (I think I missed it) what project this is?

Thank you. It came into the house just fine. No you did not miss it. I never mentioned it based on the fact I was not sure if it would turn out. I will try to post a pic tonight.

So here is what I have been working on for the last 3 weeks, in all my spare time. It is our new kitchen table. I have never done a wood project before. So this was a new experience for me. It is just under 4 feet wide and is a little of 6 feet long. The legs are redwood, and the top is solid oak. It would have only taken me two weeks but I used the wrong varnish and had to stripe it off and start over. Then the weather played into the stain drying again. But now it is in the house and ready to use.

I attempted chairs. Will never do that again. The three that I made looked horrible. So for now we are using the chairs we have had and I will buy chairs from an unstained wood place as I have the money to buy them.

Yeah, that's what all the "ladies" say..............:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

You will have to ask Scott about this one. He has discussed it several times with me and my parents. We have been together for 9 years. Married 7 and he can count on one hand how many times he has heard me toot. He keeps telling me that it is ok to toot around him, but I am just a person who does not toot.

HELP!!!! Julia just decided to cut her hair. it is horrible!!!!!!:scared1: Anybody have any ideas on a little girls SHORT haircut that would be sorta cute?

How short did she take it. Mac did the same thing a few months ago. We were able to do what they call an undercut with layers. They took it to the top of her shoulders for the longest length and then layered the rest to even in what she cut.

I collect pencils ( wierd i know).

Not wierd at all - I collect the freen pens from hotels:rolleyes1 - I have loads of them - I like to use one occasionally and it reminds me of the holiday when I read which pen I've picked up

we also have a bunch of wdcc figs.

Do you still collect? We have all the early stuff but no recent pieces

. (in other words, we gotta lotta junk):rotfl2:

I know what you mean - it was amazing what we threw away when we moved house.

I wonder if Karen sent over some of her "grape juice" over to Nancy..........:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

She's more than welcome to share:goodvibes

you are right karen. you deserve a gold medal.:thumbsup2

OPh dear:hug: - I hope you can get it sorted

I think it is hopeless for any style. It is very short around the ears. Didn't touch the back. Very nice mullet!:headache:

So what is the cut off page on the threads?

It is supposed to be 250 pages, but I have seen some mods cut them off quite a bit sooner. I guess when they feel it's time to close it, they do.
