Just got in from getting my haircut and Hazel told me that she got a call from one of her sisters. It appears as though Hazel's brother had a mild heart attack and passed out as his was driving his tractor trailer. He was on his was from NJ to Ohio. When he came too, he was off the side of the road. That's all I know for now.

Hazel is on the phone right now with Ray. Ray is doing OK, but can't go back on the road until he gets clearance from the doctor. More tests have to be run also.

So glad to read that Ray is going to be OK    We'll keep him in our thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery!

OH NO ANDY!

(sorry, just trying to catch up. I'll look for your update.)

Quick update before I go outside to mow the lawn.

Hazel's brother Ray is home and doing OK. He is ordered NOT to do any over the road trips until he gets clearance from the doc. Ray will be going in for medical testing to see exactly all what happened.

Ray did tell Hazel last evening the only thing he remembered is blacking out, then waking up sitting behind a barn in his truck. I guess he went off the road a little farther that we first thought. Luckily, he wasn't hurt, or worse.

That one goes SJ-Sea-Aruba-Curacuo-Sea-St. Maarten-St. Thomas-SJ

Someone that I used to work with did that itinerary on RC a few years ago and she loved it! Whenever we get around to trying a different cruise line that is the cruise I want to do. I have always wanted to go to Aruba and Curacao.

Here's the updated list. Are we missing anyone so far?

It sounds like Karen and Jen are maybe's on this too. Maybe Mike and Robin would be interested also. I think they stayed at the Radisson the night before KK.

Anyone else just add yourself to the list.

Still no email from the Radison so I'm thinking I'll get it on Mon. I'll keep you guys posted!

I know this is off-topic (what isn't around here?) but I'm so excited that I wanted to share ...

Jay's birthday is next Saturday and the STL Brewer's Festival is May 8-10 ... for his birthday present I was able to snag us two tickets to the VIP Brewer's dinner on May 8th. It's a 5-course dinner paired with various beers - the event will be hosted by some Food Network guy and all the local brewmasters will be in attendance at the dinner as well.

We're really pumped - we've both been wanting to try something like this for a long time.

I guess I'd better start getting back on the dreadmill ... :rotfl2:

Brenda that sounds great! Have fun!

Rachel's birthday is next Sat. too.

Remember the original TV Mickey Mouse Club show? At the end of each show the Mousekateers would sing what would become the trade-mark of the show.
So I end this day's posting, or really begin this new day of posting, with an exert from their song.

"Now it's time to say good-bye to all our family.
M-I-C, See you real soon.
K-E-Y, Why? Because we love you.
M-O-U-S-E
Mickey Mouse. Mickey Mouse. ..."

GOOD NIGHT ALL YOU MOUSEKATEERS

Now I'm going to have that song going through my head all day. It's a good one though I guess.

WOW! That sounds AWESOME! That's exactly the type of thing DH and I love. We actually seek out microbreweries when we travel. We found an awesome one during our last trip with the kids to Hershey Park.

HAVE FUN!

(BTW, I"m also a Food Network addict! I LOVE TO EAT!)

Melody if you ever make it to Stinktown, er... I mean St. Louis, let us know. We'll take you to the Tap Room which is owned and operated by Schlafley's Brewery - it's incredible and if you guys like microbrewerys you'd love this place. :thumbsup2

Food Network ... the only thing better I've found is the Travel Channel! :lmao:

And if you like food and have lots of time on your hands feel free to check out our blog ... it's chock full of food reviews - most of them still Disney related - but I'm working on stuff from Vegas now. The link's in my siggie. :goodvibes

I also meant to post earlier and then forgot ... your children are adorable. :goodvibes

Cheryl, this is the one we are seriously considering right now for next May. I'm just not sure that we want to do two cruises in one year ... :confused3

Brenda that sounds great! Have fun!

Rachel's birthday is next Sat. too.

Thanks! I'll be sure to let you all know how it goes.

Isn't it funny how many overlaps there are with birthdays and anniversaries in the group? Cass and my mom have the same birthday; Jen and I have the same birthday; Cass and Rob's anniversary is the same day as Jen and my birthday; and now Rachel and Jay have the same birthday ... kinda cool! :goodvibes

Good morning, Good bye.

Off to let the carpet cleaners in the office and then up to GB to see Grandma. Haven't seen her since her b-day weekend the middle of March.

Talk to y'all tonight.

You'll just miss being in GB when Rach is. She leaves early tomorrow morning for her student council conference in GB.

Don't know if Rach sent you a PM but she says the Jonas Brothers won't be on the repo, they only have 1 day where they are not performing during that time frame. She was very relieved!

It is cool. We're not that large of a group where you would think there would be so many overlaps with 365 days in the year.

Now that I'm caught up here I need to go wake up Rach and try and get some things accomplished around here today.

Yeah! - how did you do it?:yay:

Karen good luck with the relatives, my sister arrives in 9 days--she satys for 3 weeks. ugh.

3 weeks:scared1: - ours only stayed a few hours - it went well actually.

Here's what you do.
1 - Type your text as you would like it to appear as a hyperlink.
2 - Highlight the text
3 - Click the Globe/hyperlink icon up there
4 - Paste in the actual URL

YOu should be good to go! :thumbsup2

Ok, thanks for trying to help, but you lost me on stage one with the word "hyperlink":confused3 Maybe I should have mentioned that I'm pc illiterate:rolleyes1

The only hyper I know is this one :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

:rotfl2: I thought you were going to blame Plankton!

I'll use him as my excuse as I run in and out next October - thanks for the idea;) :lmao:

Glad you survived last night! Hopefully everything will go well today too pixiedust:

It did - thanks Cheryl:hug:

I just sent you off a PM, I hope it helps!!! ;)

We bought a wii fit today - (spent my underwater camera money yet again) havent set it up yet.

Apparantly it assesses you and tells you your body age and fitness etc.

How frightening:scared1: Tomorrow I'll be age 90 and obese:rolleyes: :lmao:

Hey Karen, I took one of those "age" assessment tests and thought it was going to tell me I was already dead given some of the health issues I have along with the way I drink (socially ... I'm not tippling that much at home, really!).

Instead it came back and said I was only 35 instead of 38; when Jay saw it he asked me if they calculated in dog years. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
