We've never stayed at Port the night before. Where does everyone usually stay?

I'd love to make it to the 4 am port meet....but it will all depend on the flights we get. If we leave early enough we'll be able to get to port on Friday.

What DID I do last cruise??? Seems like I missed a lot of stuff....

I've never been in Cove Cafe either. Actually, I'm not quite sure we never made it in there...

I've never been in Cove Cafe either. Actually, I'm not quite sure we never made it in there...

My mom and I have been down near Grills to watch the Magic sail up the channel a couple of time in the early morning hours, it is so peaceful and quiet that time of day, and oh yeah, DARK!!!

Yep....me too...

but it's so hard to work when there's friends to DIS with!

I've also been surfing the 'net for hotels near O'Hare that do free extended parking. Our flight to AZ leaves at 8:10 am, so I think we might drive down the night before.

The absolute cheapest parking at O'Hare is $9/day (x8 days is $72) and I've fould a couple hotels in the $89-99/night rate with free parking for 10-14 days plus airport shuttle.

We have stayed at the Radison and the Residence inn. I liked the Residence better. It was cleaner and the breakfast was included. The Radison has a much nicer pool, but the kids weren't with us so it didn't matter. We had dinner at Grills. That was really good.

One time we did RCCL from Port canaveral. It was hard to watch the Wonder pull out. We did have a really nice time on the mariner, but it's just not the same.

We've had a couple of DISmeets the night before our cruise at Grills. In August 2006, we had about 50 show up for the DISmeet!!!
