In hindsight, do you think Ernie would have been fine?

Wonder how often they will go through once the new ships are done? I know the new ones can't go through the current canal and the modification won't be done until 2014 or 2015.
Honestly? Yes.

The only thing that doesn't make me feel too upset about it is (aside from the price ticket) the fact that there are so many excursions at the ports we wouldn't have been able to take part in because of their ages. And just imagine what our Flounders bill would have been!!! :scared1:

I have a feeling they'll send one of the older ships (Magic or Wonder) over to CA once the new ships arrive. That will be a REPO perhaps we can join in on.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

CBR is my fav too. but these days we just stay at the value resorts.
we get more "bang for the buck" as a wise disser would say.

Does it take a long time to get back to the value resorts from the parks?

I think I was spoiled by getting to stay at the Contemporary and getting to hop on the Monorail to MK and Epcot, which is where we spent most of our time. It was so quick to get back to the hotel....

I knew you'd have the answer!

I've never played Supercash or Badger 5, but I might have to take another look at Badger 5 ;)

I won $500 the first time I played Supercash. I was going to pick my own numbers but the clerk put in for a quick pick. I took the ticket anyways.

Got the first 3 numbers, missed the 4th, and got the last 2.

The difference that one number made was $249,500. Big difference in first and second place.

That was 17 years ago. They've since changed the prizes and give a top prize of $350,000. I'm sure they changed the odds though.

I haven't played Supercash in years.

As for Badger 5, wait until it tops $100,000. It starts at $10,000, but the odds don't make it worth it until after the $100K mark.

(lets hope so.):woohoo:

If they "station" a ship in California, do you think they'll try to buy an island so that they can have a Western Castaway Cay?

Cass, that makes me feel like I'm not so strange after all!!!

Glad I could make you feel better Jen :goodvibes :lmao:

What are the odds for your top prize up there?

They are insane down here.

Umm we have two major Canadian lottos..the 649, which draws on Saturdays and Wednesdays and the Super 7 which is drawn on Fridays. Not sure about the Super 7 but I think the 649 is 1 in about 13 million.

But the difference for us is that the winners get it all, no taxes. So if it's 25 mil, you GET 25 mil. :thumbsup2

Thinking of buying some Canadian lotto tickets???

I usually play Powerball and Megabucks - Mega has smaller prizes but a bit better odds.

Hey, now here's a question for Numbers Boy...would you have better odds playing the same group of numbers every time, or getting randomly selected numbers each time? Or doesn't it matter?

My brother (who is a lottery nut!) buys powerball tickets when he goes down to the States. He just came back from Vegas and was telling me about the jackpot...can't remember but it was like 130 MIL or something...(is that right?) anyways, he figured after he took the buyout and all taxes were paid, he would have about 35 MIL. :lmao:

who could that be?:rolleyes1
we are waiting for a good pic of me.:rolleyes1 could be a while.:rolleyes1
we still have 17 months. it may take that long to get one.:lmao:

Umm, you guys aren't even on there yet!! Still waiting for your info. I don't add people unless they email/pm me. There's still a few Bobers missing but until they tell me to out them up, I'm not adding them :rolleyes1

believe me, i had no trouble figuring it out.:lmao: :rotfl2:
pirate: pirate: :cool2: :cool2: :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

Yeah, I knew YOU wouldn't have any problems :lmao:

I just spoke with the woman from the Radison again. She can block however many rooms we think we might need at this time at the $109.00 + tax rate and then we have until 6 weeks before hand to make our individual reservations (she said the date for that would be Sept. 11, 2009). When I get back to her on how many rooms to block she will send me a "contract" including the code that I would then forward on to the people on the list for you to each make your own individual reservations at the group rate. The cancellation policy is the same as their normal cancelation policy, you must cancel by 6pm the day of arrival but in order to maintain the group rate we need to have at least 10 rooms that get reserved. Right now according to the list I have we are at 14 rooms but there were a few more that were "possibles". I don't know if any of the "possibles" want me to include them in the block and then they'd have time to figure out what they want to do. I told her I'd check on this with you guys again and call her back again in a few days. If we block 20 rooms and then only 15 of us reserve the other rooms that are not reserved go back into their system on Sept. 11, 2009 and that rate would be gone for any BOBers that didn't reserve.
I'll post the list I have again. If I am forgetting anyone or anyone else wants to be added as a "definite" let me know or Cass also has the info on her site and I'll keep monitoring the list on there too. If any of you are thinking there is a good chance you would want to stay at the Radisson the night before let me know in the next few days so that we include enough rooms in the group block that you'd then be able to get in on this rate.

I hope all this makes sense :goodvibes

Here's the list of BOBers that have said they want to stay at the Radisson the night before the cruise:

Mike & Robin (2 people, 1 room)
Jeff (3 people, 1 room)
Cass (6 people, 2 rooms)
Nancy (2 people, 1 room)
Tony & Stacy, Jesse & Kristin (4 people, 1 room)
Andy (3 people, 1 room)
Andy's mom (2 people, 1 room)
Joanne (2 people, 1 room)
Cheryl (4 people, 1 room)
Shelley (2 people, 1 room)
Chris & Lynn (2 people, 1 room)
Walt & Di (2 people, 1 room)
Sean & Cath (3 people, 1 room)

There were a lot of excursions DS couldn't do at 4 on the Western, which was a bit of a bummer. Of course, that being my first cruise we really only looked at DCL excursions. Later, I discovered we probably could have done some on our own (like Stingray City) with him. But we had a great time anyway.

I think there will be more repo cruises....especially since these filled up so quickly!

Thanks for looking after this for us Cheryl :thumbsup2

The only way we would cancel is if they offered the internet rate again for $99. Since we might have two rooms (one for our friends) we would save $20 if we did that.

we've stayed at most lots of diff disney resorts and feel the bus service is about the same everywhere. they do a pretty good job of getting you back, even during busy season.:wizard:
although, CBR is my favorite, it always seemed like their bus system doesnt flow as well. (unless they've changed it)(we havnt stayed there for a while)

Hi Lori
Just seen you logged on, the pics were fab, you look amazing!
we were just talking about you, its only 9 weeks this weekend until we decend on you:thumbsup2
think sean sent you a pm the other day.
sean liked the picture of scott outside the rose and crown, hope he enjoyed his boddies:rotfl2: :grouphug:

I can't believe you all will be here so soon!!!!!! We are all so excited!:cool1: :cool1:

So, can we take a poll among the BOBers...what is your favorite WDW resort/hotel? We don't own DVC, so those don't count ;)

It's hard to say which is my favorite. Honestly we have been happy at all the WDW resorts we have stayed at over the years. Any WDW resort is better than being at home!!!!!!! We've stayed at Pop Centry, Caribbean Beach, Port Orleans Riverside, Coronado Springs, Dolphin, Saratoga Springs, Beach Club Villas and Wilderness Lodgr Villas. The only moderate we have not stayed at is Port Orleans French Quarter so we might stay there the night after the BOB cruise, it will depend on rates and how many DVC points we have at the time,

me too. I could just live there. I always joke about getting a job there with Walt. Diane

Yeah, Alex told us she was going to work there after college. She wants to be a dream person!!!! And she waid we had to move there too. I am fine with that.:thumbsup2
