Shouldn't that be "wasn't" feeling good........:confused3

Yes Mr. Verandah Man.

(Andy is now the English Teacher of the thread :rotfl: )

Sorry, I must have been typing too quick and wasn't reading what I typed.

Happens often with me. :rotfl:

Just got back from taking Lina to the store and dropping her off at school, now I have to start getting ready for work, looks like I might be a few minutes late getting to work this morning, oh well.........

I'm a few minutes late to work everyday. I usually show up between 8:45-9:00. The office opens at 8:30. However, I'm usually there well past 5:00 everyday, plus do a ton of work from home.

I'm actually taking DS to school early so I can get to work earlier. I'm out at 1:00 today.

If it wasn't for the fact that I am taking a 1/2 vacation day this Friday, and taking off next Wed-Thur-Fri, I would stay home today. I'm feeling better than yesterday, but not 100% yet. I think what did it, was walking around in all the rain on Friday and Monday.

Lina wants to stop at the store on her way to school this morning, so I have to sign off for now, see y'all later........:wave2:

You leave next Wednesday Andy? I think we might be able to finish this thread by then. Whatcha think?

Good morning/afternoon all....

Just getting a quick post in before I have to start working...ugh. I'm at work already, but I almost always get here about 15 minutes early.

91 days until DISNEY!!!

LUCKY! I'm jealous....

We're doing 2 days in DL in December, but that's still a long ways off!

Which brings up a question actually....what age is a good age for kids to get the most out of WDW?

Pete's going to kill me when he finds out I'm secretly hoping to do a WDW trip the year after the BOB cruise, and I need some justifications! Our money tree hasn't been doing well (I hear they don't do well father away from their native soil near Milwaukee :lmao: ) but I SO want to take DS to WDW!

Good morning all,

Well I just booked a room at Port orleans for the end of the month. Three nights. I am crazy taking my 87 year old mother and my 67 year old sister? Shades of green was full. Which is a shame because they have two beds and a pull out. Now Two of us will have to sleep together. Ihope they give the driver the empty bed:love:

This is our first stay there. Any suggestions?

Happy Wednesday all.

Good question, but I guess that might depend on your family's touring style. We started taking ours when they were each 5 months old. We had amazing times every trip. On our next trip Ernie will be 1y1mo and Amelia will be 3y4mo.

Do you have your heart set on PO? I'm wondering if you could get a better rate at the Swan or Dolphin that is comparable to waht you are paying at PO. I'm thinking those resorts, too, because you'll be in a more convenient location with older women.

I've never stayed there, so I don't have any suggestions....

I don't think you're crazy...I think it's good to plan activities when you have family staying with you - otherwise they might drive you crazy!

Have fun - do you know what attractions/parks you plan to do with them?

Well, I guess I'm wondering when he will really remember and enjoy the attractions and atmosphere the most, since we will probably only do one or two trips to WDW during his childhood.

My parents took me to DL when I was 6, and I don't really remember a lot. DH went to WDW with his family when he was 8, and when we went to WDW for our honeymoon (and the only time I've been to WDW) he could still remember the layout of the parks. I also want to take him before he's "too old" to really enjoy the magic of Disney.

We are surprised at what Amelia remembers from the last trip (December 07). Just last night at dinner she was rehashing a bunch of Castaway Cay. She had us rolling with her interpretation of things!

Oh, Thomas remembers the cruise for sure (Oct. 07)! We don't dare tell him yet that we're cruising again, because it's SUCH a long time to wait! he'll probably know by Christmas, 'cuz I'm making t-shirts for all our group for Christmas gifts. But he remembers meeting the characters, and kids club, etc.

Shades of Green booked it at a military rate so it's only 151.00 a night. So I can't complain.

The youngest we took our kids was three, It was hard on him cause he wanted to ride the rides and was too short. The most fun was when they were 5 & 7. We could ride everything and they weren't afraid of anything.

Listening to them talk the best vacations are the cruises and then the on trip where we just happened on Stars wars weekend.
