All this talk of Car hire had me thinking, which company would be best to use when we get off after the REPO?,We need a car to get from the ship to the Swan and then onto the Airport....:rolleyes1

Think we're using Budget

I woke up at 4:50 this morning, dreaming I was in someone's house reading their meter and their house caught on fire. I was up on the second floor looking out the window seeing the flames and trying to get out the window to jump to the ground...........that's when I woke up........couldn't go back to sleep after that. The last thing I remember seeing on the news before going to bed last night was, the fires in Florida.

Fires...what fires?

Nancy,

I just looked at it, and with that flight that is 6/13-6/17, you have to come back early on the 17th.

Look at two one-ways. Down on Midwest on the 6:35 p.m. on that Friday (no need to take off work that day) and back on AirTran on their evening flight.

It was $156 and $103, respectively. That would give you the best flight times to maximize your time down there.

I think all the people from around here are heading down to WDW after school lets out that week.

Thanks Jeff. I'll check into those too. Still worried about the hot weather though in Florida. I don't want to blow a few hundred dollars if I'm going to be miserable. I can do that here at work for free. :scared1:

Cass

Great job on those maps. Thanks tons. I'm sure they will assist all of us now. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Not sure if Alamo has a spot at Port, but they have two location in WDW, one of which is at the Dolphin. The other is the car care center at which they'd drive you back to your hotel.

If you don't need the car, I would drop it off. Doesn't the Swan and Dolphin charge $10/day for parking?

Otherwise, look at Budget or Avis. We're using Avis and got a full-size for only $51 one-way. Haven't checked prices though in 2 months, so I probably should to see if they went down.

No Alamo at the Port. That's why we switched to Budget.

Hiya Becky. Welcome back.Glad you had a good time. The countdown to Monday is on and we missed Donny Osmond!
Noooooo, he has to come back on the EBPC I love him! I see Joey Fatone is on the WB as well, hoping he comes back on the EB I want to see him too.

By the way for me it's countdown to Sunday at 9pm.;)

Becky noticed your link to your blog. Are you going to do a live update?

I'm hoping to. Depending on the speed I may have to just have the pic of the day load up into photobucket and post that way.

"vet's appt"

Tell the Vet "No jabs for Mrs Paige"...:rolleyes1

Don't make me bite you, AFEG.:rotfl:

$48 sounds like a decent price, but make sure you're under a 1/4 tank when you take it back. Otherwise, it may not be such a good deal. What type of car are they saying. I could check the gas tank size for you.

I just filled up the Accord, a mid-sized car, and it was $55 yesterday.

Paige, either you're not filling it near empty or have cheap gas there, because our Bravada, which has a smaller tank than the Suburban, is pushing the $75-$80 mark. :scared1:

$3.68 for the cheap stuff here. I estimate about $100 for a tank because when I go in it is empty and because I use my Disney Visa, I can only put in $75 at a time. That gives me only 3/4 of a tank. I never seem to have time to swipe a 2nd time to get to fill it up completely. I always seem to be running around like a chicken with my head cut off! No comments AFEG.

I thought it was the "blue haired" state? :rotfl2:

It's all good. I love blue haired people. In fact, if it wasn't for Clairol I would be a "blue hair" too.:rotfl:

Good morning all,

I love all the pictures.

Bermuda is beautiful, we went on our Honeymoon 25 years ago.

My sister arrived last night. She is here for three weeks. I wasjust trying to figure out how to do a quick trip to WDW. I have most of my vacation days planned for this year but I might be able to sqeeze one more in. I am going to check Shades of Green for the week end of May 30th.

Love SoG. Hate that they don't do the DDP. They have their own dining plan but I don't want to go back to the hotel for every meal.:headache:

Perhaps we need to lead a protest group...bring back Donny!:thumbsup2

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

It is my sad duty to inform this BB and at 9.30am this Morning Mrs Paige was humanly put to sleep when it was discovered by the Vet that she was suffering from distemper.....:sad1:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Just as I expected. XXXX takes the "prize". :upsidedow

Merci, Merci. :)

WOW, that sounds like August weather in Wisconsin.:scared:

My work email is acting up too. I can send a message and the recipient gets it 5-6 hours later. Not good for business.

Lori: That little Harrison is just the cutest. Certainly on my "munchable" list. :lovestruc

Tanya: Great job on the pics. It took me forever to learn how. Cass gave us these awesome instructions last year. That's when I learned how to do it myself. :cutie:

Walt & Di:Your vacation sounds like fun. Was it just the two of you?
Welcome Home.:yay:

Becky: Great view. We'll see more pics, right neighbor?

yes it was just the two of us. Grandkids are still in school. They were so jealous of us being there. Hope to take them this summer. Their schedule is pretty busy though. Diane

If it helps you in any way to know am struggling real bad today with "MAN FLU"......Not one of them girlie flu's this is the real thing dear....

No that does not make me feel good. Have you gotten your car hire sorted? How about your USSR troubles?

No it just saying ive missed ADDRESS....I have a 9.30 appointment for my Appeal in the morning...Tossers,i wish you lot had nuked them when you had the chance....:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Why on earth would they have this game take place in Russia anyway? I know nothing about European football...does Moscow have a team? This is the Championship, right?

And what in the he!! did you do to pi$$ off the Russians? I bet it has something to do with Vodka...

Sounds like RCCL disappointed you?

I was thinking the same thing and I wanted to do that exact same cruise in June of 2009 or 2010.

How bad/different are the other lines from DCL? I would like to go on different itineraries than DCL has to offer, but also want to be happy with the cruise. Suz will never let me hear the end of it if it isn't as nice as DCL.
