Andy, Alex and Harrison got theirs yesterday. Harrison has carried around the Mickey card all day saying Mickey Mouska (from Mickey Mouse clubhouse). And of course Alex loves tinkerbell.

I want to get some opinions here............lets just say this would happen (not that it is:rotfl2: )

There are 2 sisters and they do not live close to each other. Their dad is going to visit the youngest daughter that lives a few hours away and she wants her wonderful neice and nephew to come with him. The neice is turning into a teenager and want to go to someones birthday party instead. Well understood. The nephew would love to come but is grounded at the moment. Now don't you think the grounding should be suspended so he could go spend valuable time with this WONDERFUL aunt of his and his awesome uncle and incredible 3 cousins?

If i happened to be in this situation I know I would love to see my nephew that I miss terriblyeven though he may not be a perfect child all the time. And I'm sure if this was a real situation he would be the cutest thing ever!!!!!

Love ya sis!

At the risk of getting in the middle of something here, I think I would take into consideration "the crime" that earned the grounding in the first place....

Your answer should have been, "just tell me where you keep your money in your room and I will make sure I bring some when I pick you up".

She never has money for things like this it seems. Maybe I should tell her it is an early birthday present :rotfl2:

Welcome to my world!!! ;)

Yeah I know and now we are heading into the "expensive" time of the school year, especially with Rach graduating from eigth grade this year, but I know that will be nothing compared to you having Angelina graduating from high school

Just take my side. You've known me longer!!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

While he is here I could talk to him also about "the crime" and reinforce everything that his mom and dad wants him to learn from this lesson. I tried to say that I wouldn't let him have any fun here........but that didn't work!:lmao: :lmao:

:cool1:  :dance3: YAY JEN!!!! Way to go. Keep it up.:dance3:  :cool1:

I don't remember the Coke/Pepsi discussion either, it must have taken place one of the times I wasw AWOL and missed too many pages to catch up on :confused3

Jen great job on exercising! I thought about it but that's as far as I got :rotfl2: I told myself the BL challenge starts Friday and I'm fighting a cold so I'll wait to start exercising :guilty: I did eat healthy today and I haven't had one sweet all day and it is killing me.

Way to go Jen........:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Thanks everyone

Cheryl - if you're fighting a cold, take it easy...don't wear yourself down.

Not having any sweets is a big victory too! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Ok, I'm going to finish watching Top Chef (why am I watching a food show anyway??) and go to bed. 'Night all...have fun turning off the lights on the BOB thread #4 ...

I'll confess. Lori gave me a quick phone call to try and clue me in on the Coke/Pepsi thing.

Also, I'm glad you guys told me about "pop" being said in other places. I've been signaled out for using the word too many times. And I'm glad when I come visit, I can celebrate with a Dr. Pepper. I've had a hard time finding them in travel centers--the last time was in PA.:thumbsup2

Cheryl,

Here is the link to the menu: http://www.remedicreative.com/cheesygrill/imgs/menu.pdf

I believe it is DIY Bathrooms. We are doing a tiling class at Home Depot this Saturday and will look into tackling the lower bath maybe in a couple of weeks. We want to have everything ready to go so it isn't piece by piece.

My uncle owns the largest tile saw company in the country (supplies HD, Menards, Lowes and a bunch of other DIY stores) and is sending me a wet saw and all the supplies needed.

Everything on the menu looks good except for the one with the sloppy joes, for some reason ever since being pregnant with Rach I don't like sloppy joes anymore even though that was 14 years ago :confused3 Al loves sloppy joes though so I bet he would try that one.

Al picked up an inexpensive tile saw and we had some old tile left over from when we tiled our other bathroom so he just practiced with that and so far so good. He has been working on our bahroom since August though and he stlll hasn't finished it :rolleyes1 just like the cobblers children have no shoes, the carpenters wife never seems to get home projects completed quickly

Just in case Karen reads the end of this thread, here is where we're at as of this post Karen:

JLDSMD 400
Karen Mouse 382
millerpjm 356

Sorry Jen, I don't think you'll be able to overtake her, even if we let you finish off the thread.

Yes Andy, you had almost 200 more than me.

Thanks everyone

Hey, I'm watching Top Chef at this very moment as well..........;)

Oh yeah, like that would happen............:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Yeah, normally I would agree with you that the punishment should stand no matter what.......but I really want to see him. I'm being totally selfish, and that's okay. It's out of love.

Don't laugh, the Accountant's taxes weren't filed until about 10 days before the deadline and we got $4,200 back. :rotfl:

I had the sloppy joe sandwich today and it was really good. :thumbsup2

Night Jen. I often go to sleep with the Food Channel on too, it just seems like a good channel to watch when there is nothing else good on.

Thanks, Jen. And it's "the crimeS"

:sad1: :sad1: :sad1:

He's just a little boy.......come on you ole mean mommy..........let him go see his family...........having to put up with Julia following him around is punishment enough isn't it?

Well, . . . .make him be nice to Julia was going to be my only instruction! :rotfl2:
The decision is still we'll see and most likely no. He has already tried to maneuver out of some of the constraints.

So it was in the 70's today. I think the cold front comes through tonight and we drop 20-30 degrees.

You guys in the east will have some nice weather in a couple of days. :thumbsup2

I don't want to get in the middle either but we have already "suspended" a grounding for Rach in order for her to go with me to visit my sister and brother-in-law that live over 6 hours away from us. She typed up a whole page of reasons why she should be able to go with and serve her punishment after we got back home. That was part of what convinced me to give in, she realized she would still need to serve the punishment. The other thing is that they are her favorite aunt and uncle and we only get to see them a few times a year and the times we spend with them I treasure too because Rach is always in a good mood when we are at their house, she leaves the stinky home :goodvibes
