sounds good.:thumbsup2
you laugh now, but robin and i both put in our 2 weeks notice, and the condo
is up for sale. as soon as its sold we'll be moving in.:woohoo:
hope you have plenty of room for our disney signs in your garage.:rolleyes1

Trust me, I've already told Scott I want to do that in our garage. Now I just need to start finding the signs. I will also tell Scott he has about a month to finish the basement for you all.

basement?? i thought you rich folks had a guest house.

very nice cass. we'll be needing one this sept.:thumbsup2
tell us... if the price is right, would you even make a minnie cake??

Hmmm, I don't know about the Minnie thing, guess we'll have to see :lmao:

I dunno if I will be shipping. I think it will be a Calgary thing only. Checked some prices for FedEx for shipping and it's a wee bit expensive. They are big and heavy...FedEx ground to San Diego is about $45 and to Toronto Ontario is about $23.

I guess for some people that's peanuts but from my perspective, to pay $85-125 for a cake THEN another $23-$45 to ship it is a little crazy :crazy2:

I might just put that option in but I doubt I will get too many takers.

Loved Cassie's pics! :goodvibes Love how Addison makes a cameo on there! :lovestruc

just bring it with you to WI when rob DJ's at tonys wedding.
we'll pick it up there.:thumbsup2

Becky, we aren't drinkers either. Here and there and rarely. On both of our 7night cruises we brought along $1000.00 for spending and probably only spent around $200.00. (Excursions, tips, etc were also figured elsewhere).
Well we are at 15 so if I doubled that it is about what I am thinking.

Don't quite know what to suggest. Don't forget there will be goodies on the ship especially for the Repo, that you won't get anywhere else. We're not big alcoholic drinkers either Becky, I might have the occasional cocktail an rick has the occasional beer, but thats about it. October 07 was an exception. I wouldn't take a lot of cash off the ship, just a credit card. I usually buy a couple of souveniers - thimbles, magnets and that's about it.

Why not budget at about $100 a day and then you can't go wrong. What about Bingo cards....are you a fan of that?

We are thinking 1200 onboard, but don't expect to spend that much, but you never know. Then 800 for the 5 stops. I'm kind of hoping that with being on the 5 dayer after the Repo those things that we would like but don't have to have will be on clearance.
What I have done in the past is bring envelopes and put each days port money in it's own envelope. I've never brought a CC for ports and the only one we are bringing is AmEx, is that excepted at most places?
No bingo for us, well maybe one game, it's a bit expensive

maybe we'll fly her in to take his pics when we meet up during the repo cruise. :thumbsup2 :yay: :yay:
There you go, but you have to find your way to LA, can't afford the overage in weight for the bags we will be stuffing you in. Start doing some yoga now Dawg, that duffel could be a tight sqeeze. You and Tart get the couch and bunk though, and I guess we will have to come up with a towel on the door system:lmao:

take lots of cash becky. pop tart and i may have to hit you guys up for a loan about half way through the cruise.:yay:
are you guys eating early or late?
We eating early with Heather, Chris, and Number Boy (he's been such a help I refuse to call him TW)

i'll check it out.
although we were hoping to stay at hotel "becky&sean to save a few bucks.
:thumbsup2 (or maybe steve would let us stay for a nite)
Staying at the Grand Californian this time:cool1: We could ask for a separate bed for that.:rotfl2: Wow you have retirement set, no rent, no paying for vacations....you're going to have to give me some tips for this one.

Becky, I was going to say $300 a week, so $600 total. We will probably bring extra, but not necessarily use it. Most everything will be charged to the ship account, and we already have $600 on there from DCL and Dreams. Plus we'll have Visa Rewards, which right now are about $300. We should have another $400-$500 of those by the time we sail. We will also put money on our account before we go for any excursions.

We'll be on excursions in all ports, so that will go to the ship account. I can't see us spending much more than $50-$75 per port, and Acapulco is so short, I won't even count that one, so only 4 ports (Cabo, PV, Cartegna, Aruba). Panama we're on the ship the whole time.

Any extra ship charges over your credits will go on your card and you can pay that when you get home. No need to carry cash for that.

Ok, I promised yesterday I'd post our formal night portrait...

Jen,
This is a great pic. It was my favorite background that we took, and what I like is that they took from the knees up. So with Sean and I being the same height I wound up taking my shoes off for ours.:thumbsup2

Love your dress.
Thomas' face is priceless in those pics. This was Sarah's first year that she wasn't interested in taking pics with the characters, I cried.:sad1:

I have a non-Disney travel question. Has anyone ever visited the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, TN area? My extended family is discussing renting a cabin large enough for all of us (15-22 total). If you have, do you have a "cabin rental company" to recommend?

its all part of our master plan. make great friends and then mooch off of them forever. use my good looks and robins personality to get a place to live,(even though its a basement) free cruises and endless strawberry smoothies. we can travel to canada, england, australia and it wont cost us a cent.
