Hold on, I can shave $40 off the room at port if you go to the La Quinta. I stayed there before our Wonder cruise and I believe Paige stayed there before this past October's cruise. I'll let here comment on it.

So, now I have this down to $1,569.

LaQuinta was good. I liked that it had astronaut history...and it didn't cost much at all!:goodvibes

Cass--hope your headache isn't too bad this morning.

.....so happy for you and Chuck, Nancy! To have both of your children marry people that you love! You are blessed, for sure.:) :) :) :) :) :)

I just wanted to say a quick good morning to all you BoBers. Here is pixie dust for all who may need it...:wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

I may not be able to pop on too much over the next couple of weeks. Yes, it is true that I don't have a paying job, but I volunteer for a few things and this is the busy time of year, so I am running around like a chicken with my head cut off!:scared1:

After the 26th, I'm sure to be posting, multi-quoting and fluffing a lot more...until then, I may be just a lurker!

Have a great day, all!:flower3:

Good morning Andy. Feeling better yet??

I did manage to get a better night's sleep and did make it in to work today, but still feeling very weak and still coughing like crazy. At least I am starting on the Business Books today, and a great deal of them are outside so I won't be spreading my germies on too many people.........

We had planned to stay there when we were going to DL this Christmas... it's supposed to be right across from DL!

Still sad we can't go...:sad1:

I knew someone was about or had stayed there but me being the "twit" i am i forgot who...Sorry you missed out...:sad2:

Sorry, I wanted to go to sleep so I can dream about a Disney cruise for under $2000.00. Instead, I dreamed about .... wait for it...my next door neighbor and how she won't clean up her yard. :lmao:

Yeah, our dreaming about that kind of stuff was long over with by then.:rotfl2:

Not back then, but he made up for it in the last 30 years for sure.

:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao:

  :rotfl:

Chris, you can't mess with people's feelings like that. You're lucky Rosie is still talking to you. She is....right? :sad1:

Sure, Jen and I were doing it yesterday. We managed to fluff off a fluff off a fluff. :goodvibes

Good morning Andy. Feeling better yet??

Just about but she weren't a happy bunny i can tell you...:rotfl2:

psMe being the barstool i am the idea to PM Rachel and congratulate them on there "massive win" did cross my mind, but knowing how much the young lady loves to shop i feared I'd get lumbered with the bill if she didn't check with mum and dad first before blowing her way around the shops....:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Jesse asked us for our blessings tonight!!

Looks like it's all going to happen tomorrow night. He regrets not doing it on the cruise last year. There would have been so many opportunities for a nice romantic proposal. I hope he gets creative. It's a moment us women remember forever!!:lovestruc

:lovestruc Does she have any idea it's going to happen? You have to keep us posted!

So, I am sitting here with an ice pack over my eye....

Rob and I had a big fight. :guilty:

Kidding!

Actually my little princess decided to pitch a book at my face earlier this morning. It swelled up to the size of a small grape and now the bruising is coming in. I can feel my eye starting to swell up more and is starting to close :scared:

It has been throbbing all day :headache: Got the worst headache too!

This is what it looks like

Looks like I am doing makeup for Cirque du Soleil :)

 :headache: Oh Cass!!! Hope the swelling goes down soon!

I did have to stay away from Kristin tonight though for fear I might blow it.

Suz mom wouldn't talk to her for the whole week or so until I asked her. She knew she'd blow it. Now she just doesn't talk to her. Although, that is kinda a good thing to.

:lmao: Woody asked my dad the day before we left for Disney World. Neither of them told my mother because she would be the one to let it slip. We can't trust her with anything!

She has no idea it's happening tonight. :cutie:
You guys will probably be the first to know. :woohoo:

:yay: I didn't have a clue when Woody asked me! We hadn't even really talked about getting married. I was blind sided!

Gotta got to Medicare meeting. See y'all in a bit!

Nancy why not tell lad to do the decent thing and set up a live web-cam feed straight onto the DISS,it would keep this mob on here happy "fluffing" about it for weeks....

:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

I remember when I proposed to Lynn last century. I thought I was :cool1: :cool1: . Instead it turned out to be an adventure that evening. We went out to our favorite restaraunt in Milwaukee for dinner and the proposal. We enjoyed dinner and conversation so much I forgot to slip Lynn the question :confused3 . I did remember when we were in the car in the parking lot after dinner  and began to ask Lynn the big question. It was at that time someone looking for a parking space came up to us and asked if we were leaving so he could park in the space :lmao: :lmao: . So I stopped with the proposal and we left for the second half of the night's plans, going to see the newly released movie True Grit with John Wayne (The Duke). No, I did not forget to get out the proposal there As soon as we settled into our seats with our popcorn and sodas I got the proposal out, finally  . The rest is history. October 24 1970 was the wedding, so we will be celebrating 39 years on the cruise :dance3: .

My DW and I were married exactly 5 years to the day after you, we will be celebrating our 34th wedding anniversary on 10-24-09, small world!!!

O.K., right now I can get you a Cat 11 (I'd go for this due to the higher deck), with air, and insurance for $1,343.

$817 Cruise
$416 Air ($208 x2)
$110 Insurance

I think I can get you tips and a hotel the night before (do you really need one after? I'm sure I can do that) and rental cars for the $657 remaining.

Tips will be about $65
Rental car on each end would be $45 Front-end (1 day) and $46 Back-end (1 day). Total = $91.
Radisson near the port = $110

So what am I up to?

$1,609 before a night at the end of the cruise and spending money. How am I doing?

You are good Jeff. :thumbsup2
