Some

Have a safe trip! We will see you on Friday!

You are really "PUNNY" :rotfl2:

Well - I decided to keep them both home today as well as myself. I just talked to my sisterinlaw - who is a nurse for MY doctor and she told me that the doc just tested postive for H1N1 and yesterday they saw 4 kids from my daughter's elementary school that tested positive and 6 kids from the high school. No WAY are they going to school now!!!

Im lucky that I can do some work from home - I have a laptop and since it's going around, it's a good time for me to take advantage of the sick time.

I am SO tempted to pull Thomas out....DH says I'm overreacting.
:confused3

I don't think it has been discussed....

My name is on my t-shirt....

We ended up not doing t-shirts. :( Just didn't get around to it.

Maybe we'll bring some generic name tags if anyone want them. Just until we get to recognize each other. :thumbsup2

This morning we got one of those automated calls from the Middle School talking about all of the kids out wil ILI (Influenza Like Illness). They aren't really testing each person for H1N1 anymore here. However, the majority of flu circulating right now is still H1N1. The message from the school basically just said that a bunch of kids are sick and they are sending an information sheet home today. No mention of any more drastic measures.

I think we are going to park at the port. Tommy is not sure he wants to leave the van at the Radisson. He is being rediculious but that is nothing new. :lmao:

I am worried too, we have left it before but it was my old van not my two week old car.

My neighbor's daughter actually got the flu a couple of weeks ago (probably H1N1). She was home from school for a week. She is recovered now though. I have been impressing on our kids to wash their hands (or use hand sanitizer), no hugging friends, keep your hands away from your face, cough into your elbow, etc. etc.

Just have to make it two more days! :thumbsup2

Joanne, did your sons have to get meningitis shots before entering college?

Yes they did. "Knock on wood: we are not a sick bunch!!! They have been very healthy all these years!!

I just spoke to my contact at the Radisson, he said there is shuttle space set up for 55 BOBERs (I don't even think there are 55 BOBERs staying at the Radisson anymore so there should be plenty of room). He said you need to be in the lobby by 9:45 and the drivers will call the BOBER group and they will load your luggage and get you to the port. He said this is the easiest way to do it, the vans coming from the hotels get to bypass the line of cars waiting to drop people off.

He lives in an apartment not the dorms, so I hope that helps. He was in Atlanta last week end playing tourist so I hope he didn't run into any carriers.

Thanks so much!!! Are you still staying there??

Well I finally made it to sleep about 330am, just to be woken up by goofy4ever at 630am. She printed off the rest of her stuff, and then realized her son missed the bus for school. I took him to school, then came back home to finish checking my daughters suitcase and my suitcase. They are both ready. Just have to finalize our backpack with toiletries and electronics, and finish wife's suitcase. I also stopped at the gas station to top off fuel. I thought gas was going down....$2.56 a gallon!! I am going to go broke. Off to sleep for one hour. Talk to you really soon.

Bumping this to the top of the page to make sure everyone sees it :goodvibes

I am still debating whether to keep Thomas home...illness is spreading around the schools. Some schools are at 10-15% absent. I talked to the health aide at Thomas's school and it doesn't sound too bad there yet - she said there aren't many 1st graders out sick, mostly 3rd and 5th grade. I'm still worried - Pete says I'm being paranoid. What to do??????

Follow my lead Jen - take him out of school!! Becca is sitting on the couch watching Spongebob and Abby is playing some games in her room. Both STILL in their PJs!!

We were originally going to stay there but then we decided to use our DVC points instead because we aren't planning on going to Disney at all next year. We decided this would be a good opportunity to try some of the new DVCs so we are staying at BLT tomorrow night and then at AKV Kidani on Fri. night and driving to the port early Sat. morning.

Ok, I have sent out the emails that I needed to send out. Now I have to get some snail mail to go out. I am so ready for vacation!

I would take my kids out of school but I think they are getting their homework for the week tomorrow. We could then leave earlier to go to Maine.

I've run out of colored ink in my printer...I suppose that's a sign that I can stop making door signs?

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: You sound like me!! Of course, I sent mine to get printed and laminated at Officemax - or else I would have gone through MULTIPLE color cartridges!!
