Lynn and I, when deciding when to go down, decided on Friday instead of earlier. Many of you are leaving today and tomorrow. Now that the time is near we both are thinking that we should have at least decided to go Thursday. Our state of mind these last couple days have been on Orlando and the cruise.

Why does it seem farther away even as we are getting closer and closer??

I just want to be on the plane already.

At least our Magical Express tickets and tags arrived in time.

Good morning everyone...

Speaking of kids, they are really getting excited. Jay wants to go see Toy Story 3D with me. Sammi wants to go see Hannah Montana and Escape to Witch Mountain with her DIS friends. I told her she has two sea days and her face just lit up, and she said, "me and my friends will go to the movies!"

I'm sure that Megan and Sarah would love to join in too. They love being "independent" on the ship.

I can hear them now...
"Yeah Dad, we'll be out for a while. Might stop by the soft ice cream bar, maybe take in a movie. Don't wait up..."

Last cruise, Beth and I came back to the cabin and found the "remnants" of a snack that the girls brought back to the cabin with one of their friends. They were actually very responsible and let us know where there were going and when to expect them back.

I have to work tomorrow evening. I'll take off at 8:30 PM to come home and finish getting ready. Then its off to the airport at 6:00 AM Friday morning!

I can't believe in 24 hours we will be flying to FL I'm so glad I took today off of work, I still have lots of last minute things to get done today. I'll try and check in off and on as I finish all the last minute stuff.

I just thought of something that may have been discussed already. Are people planning to wear nametags or something with their DISboard handle on it when they get to the Port? I will recognize many of you based on pictures posted and such, (and of course the people that we have actually met), but there are also a number of people that I won't recognize. Anybody talk about this yet?

When I set up everything for the group rate I was told there would be a 10:00 shuttle for the BOBERs (earliest one possible) and that when you check in at the Radisson that you should mention this. I just left a message for my contact person at the Radisson to call me to confirm this, if I find out anything different I will post it here

Well - I decided to keep them both home today as well as myself. I just talked to my sisterinlaw - who is a nurse for MY doctor and she told me that the doc just tested postive for H1N1 and yesterday they saw 4 kids from my daughter's elementary school that tested positive and 6 kids from the high school. No WAY are they going to school now!!!

Im lucky that I can do some work from home - I have a laptop and since it's going around, it's a good time for me to take advantage of the sick time.
