Not the best night's rest, but Mike's feeling pretty good this morning. First good morning since we've been here. Yay!

I think this board needs another post soooooooo - This morning I finished putting the 2009 family pictures in an album. NOW..... I can finally start putting cruise pictures together - right after I finish printing out the rest of them! Dan takes way too many pictures! But then it was a great vacation with lots of photo ops. Hugs and pixie dust to all who need it - if anybody's reading this board!

I am here i just printed around 300 pictures at Sam's. It took me 3 hours. Now I have to organize them. All kinds of occasions since September. LOL

Wow! I don't have that many to do. I do mine at Target. Hopefully within the next week I can finish them up.

Trying to wean mike off of oxygen today. He just walked around the nurses station. Slow going, but he did it.

Bet U he was showing off his new scars to the nurses....

Evening all....just a fly by posting to keep this threat alive.

Starting to get ready for our trip over the Pond to visit with Becky and Sean. Cases will come down next week and need to decide what to pack.

Good wishes and goes to Mike and Robin. Keep up the good work guys.

Hi Heather. Becky contacted Laura to find out when we're available. Laura just got back from Denver. I've been home most of the week. You'd think that I would have had lots of time to get my list of things done, but alas, I only got to a few of them.

Update on Mike...the earliest he will be discharged is tomorrow. Taking out external pacing wires this morning. They want to do a test on his voicebox. It's been a week and he still sounds like a girl...(what kind of surgery did he have?) Lol.

For those of you that don't know Robin had to take Mike back to the hospital last night. Who ever has Facebook can see her post last night explaning what happened to Mike.
We just hope and pray for his quick recovery.

For those of you who don't have Facebook....

Mike's home and doing better. He's a little Foggy and unsteady on his feet, but will get stronger over time.

The Staff at UH were wonderful...

They gave him the VIP room (I really think it was a coincedence) and the nurses liked us so much when he was admitted in December, they went out of their way to take special care of both of us. One nurse offered to bring me something to eat on her way to work. (They loved how we picked on each other.)

Our kids were great...they spent the night at the hospital (sleeping in chairs). Mike's brother arranged a Dr's consultation room, with the VP of the Heart and Vascular Institute, for us to stay in while Mike was in ICU. She made sure we had everything we needed...blankets, pillows, coupons for free specialty coffees and free parking.

Nice view of the church across the street.

Mike's surgeon said Mike was "One tough SOB", so the kids had a shirt made for him to wear home from the hospital.
