Question about the Cruise Docs....

I didn't seem to get much in my cruise docs package.... we got the luggage tags and a "checkoff list", but the little booklet of travel like documents have stuff about onboard airline check in and Transfer stuff - none applies to us since we are driving.

Also had a letter about the Halloween activities and a "buy this Halloween stuff flier".

Does that jive with what you all got??

Thanks!

Haven't got my docs yet Angie, but it sounds about right :thumbsup2 The important part is the luggage tags because all the stuff is done online now, so as long as you print out and sign your cruise contract and bring it to check-in with you, then all you really need is your luggage tags :goodvibes

It was 90 degrees (Farenheit) yesterday (32.2 C for our metric friends). Super hot!!

It's cooled down here today but its gloomy and rainy - seems Chaz has sent his rain storms from Georgia up here to Virginia!:confused3

I'm still catching up, but don't go blaming that rain on me! :rotfl2:

I might have to toss a butt brick at ya! :lmao: What are they called if they're hard boiled? :confused3:rotfl:

That's what I thought, Cass. Thanks for verifying it!

Just an FYI for you folks who shop at Target - they have some REALLY cute Disney Tinkerbell and Princess socks in the $1 section at the front of the store.... Big kid and little kid sizes. May not need them for the cruise, but they are cute anyways!

Wow you guys sure can talk! :lmao:

Been checking in over the past couple of days, but I'm WAY behind on the thread. But, I just got my cruise documents!! :cool1::cool1::dance3::cheer2::banana::banana:
I'm still reading 20 pages back; but has anybody else recieved theirs yet?

Anyone close to FL has gotten theirs, and most of the UK contingent has gotten theirs.

robin informed me she wants an ipod touch phone with wireless something or other for xmas. i told her i have no idea what that is or how i'd go about getting one.:headache::headache::confused3:rolleyes1

go to AT&T wireless they'll hook you up. It'll add $30 to your cell phone bill. You'll need to sign up for a 2 yr commitment if you want the phone cheap. (I'm assuming that you are not already locked in a committment with your cell phone company or already are doing businness with AT&T) The base model is 8gig and cost about $99, I don't recommend it because the new models are so much better. The 16gig will set you back $199 and the 32gig will be $299. The 16 gig is good for the average user, but if you're heavy into music or movie downloads then go for the 32gig. PM me if you have any questions. I own the older 8gig unit and LOVE IT, except that it is too small and all of my stuff doesn't fit on it. So I usually carry around my iTouch as well.

UPS only delivers on Saturday if you ship something next day air on a Friday and request Saturday delivery service (it's an extra charge).

Ok, can you tell I work for a company that ships a lot of packages? :lmao:

Figures. Well, Monday or Tuesday it is. (I'm at work on Monday so I really hope that they don't come then, Who knows if Laura will be around she gets so busy!)

that's about all. Most of the legal mumbo jumbo you can do online now and it is recommended that you complete the online stuff well in advance of the cruise because they need time to clear you. According to NCL (my mom just sailed with them) not having the online stuff done prior to day of cruising can cause delays with boarding (they're words not mine) I would assume this is HSA stuff and the cruise lines have no reall control over it. (or it could be a whole lot of hooey, who knows:confused3)

Well, I finally caught up, but am so tired I am falling asleep at the computer! I'll talk to you guys/gals tomorrow. Nite all!

Hello everyone! Finally back at the hotel after settting up for the wedding and conducting the very brief rehearsal.

It seems everyone was really chatty about the Doc's. I am guessing ours will come on Monday.

We made good time to Ohio today. I'm going to go check on the kids and Elaine down at the pool. Be back in a few.

I guess it was a chat fest today and now everyone is posted out. I'll hang around a bit until I fall asleep.

Got our cruise docs today. They look good but not as much info as I had hoped. Oh well!! I also got our WDW resort package too. It was much more detailed because it included our CAA stuff.

I am going to book the Radison tomorrow so we will be at the pool on Friday night.

Yeah with online check in cruise docs "ain't what they used to be" but it is still an exciting thing to get them.

I don't think mine came today. I would have got a text from my neighbor threatening to hold them ransom! :lmao:

We went away in April for vacation and she got my Yankee season tickets for me.

I have been up almost 18 hours and I think I am slowly getting ready to call it a night.

Mike - I TOTALLY know you are teasing me!! Believe me - I like to laugh at myself!! If I can't laugh at myself - who else can I laugh at?? (You??:confused) :lmao:

Quick note - then headed home -

I sent out an updated "pretty" version of the DisTag spreadsheet. I think I got everyone who I had an email address for. If you didn't get it, PM me and I'll send it to you this weekend!

TTFN! :tigger:

Got it, thanks! :worship:

I have a question:: I'm not sure if we'll be able to make it to the B.O.B. lunch at Lumiere's on Thrs., but can we still attend for the photo afterwards? :confused3

Actually, it's the Ipod Touch that I want, not the Iphone. :rotfl2: Mike just loves it when I go techy on him. :)
