Ok - basically - took 7 of my 17 scouts to Williamsburg (with some moms). Had a blast. Super tired. Lost one scout :scared1: Found the scout  Happily ever after.

Hey we are traveling on Air Tran also!!!!! We fly in @ 10am Sat. how about you guys???? And it is $15.00 each way  for the first bag and then $25.00 for the next bag---and we have 4 flying w/ us :eek::eek:

Hey I have a few questions??? This is the first time the girls have flown since they were babies---Im just wondering about motion sickness on the plane and the ship---whats the best thing to get for kids just in case??

And when I remember the other question I will post it :rotfl2::rotfl2: cause my mind just went blank!!!!!!Thats what happens when you have 5 children ladies~~~~:rotfl2::rotfl2: One minute its there and then pixiedust: the next minute its gone :rotfl2:
Now off to church--Im in the nursery w/ all my babies this morning :dance3:

We're flying in on Friday...we have 3. I'm hoping to get away with checking only 2 bags going and 3 bags coming home (plus nice sized carryons), but that may be a bit optimistic. :rolleyes1

I'd call the pediatrician's office about motion sickness ...I'm not really sure on that one except maybe ginger ale?

I have another prayer request. My mom was admitted to the hospitol with a blood glucose(sugar) of 593, which is extremely high. She does take insulin, but it should not be this high. They are doing tests on Monday. Thank you.

You got it.

OK, on our first cruise, we weren't used to the small size of a cruise ship cabin, and it wasn't long before the whole place was just a big mess. Part of the problem was that we took too much along. So, for our last cruise we pared down a bit on what we took with us. (Just bring plenty of quarters for the laundry machines) We did do better, but it was still difficult to keep the cabin orderly so that we could find things without digging through a big mess. The vanity desktop was a particularly bad area. It seemed to collect just about everything that didn't have a specific place.

I thought it would be nice in our final three week countdown to share some tips with each other. We have a combination of very experienced cruisers along with some folks cruising for the first time, and everybody in between of course. For example, tips on how early to arrive at the cruise terminal, packing, cabin organization, how early to be at the shows, etc.

I would like to kick off with a call for tips on cabin organization. What tricks have you learned along the way that can help the rest of us.

For example - When getting everyone ready for formal night or to go to dinner, we put the kids on "The Island" They would sit on the couch, or the upper part of the bed while Beth and I scurried around the cabin getting things ready. They couldn't leave the island because of the "sharks". We would rescue them when it was their turn in the bathroom or to get dressed. :rotfl:

Great idea Matthew! :thumbsup2
We love our over the door shoe holder for the bathroom. It holds everything you need in one neat spot. I've also heard of folks using them on the outside of the bathroom doors for other things like water bottles, lanyards, etc.

Keep it going BOBers......
