Good Question!!! My DH was asking the same thing - of course, he said he was SURE that any swords/guns/lightsabers would be available for purchase (for the low low Disney price of $$$$$$$$) at the onship shop!!!

I remember in '07, they had plastic swords (I always thought that was weird) but I do not remember guns or lightsabers.

I don't think the lightsaber would look suspicious in the luggage xrays???

So, I was thinking about booking onboard again.
Mostly I was thinking about that Alaskan cruise for Bob.

But.....


He'd really like a cruise that went to Alaska and where you can stay in a town for a few days combined with the cruise. I believe it was suggested somewhere on a travel channel show that that was the best way to go.

So, since a fellow traveler suggested that Alaska is probably a trip you'd only do once, I figure we'll wait for a better itinerary.... cruise line......

Just had dinner and now I'm catching up with a cuppa

My intention tonight while Neil is away and Ellis is in bed is to try on all my dresses and see which fit

That might make my shoe selection a little easier

The ones I'd like to take are high and I dont often wear heels... I'm just wondering if I'd cope onboard (especially if its a bit rocky) I'd only have to go from cabin to dining room to theatre to bar, so I should be ok. Neil could always give me a piggy back I suppose (you all know the term piggy back right?)

Elaine and Sam are both home sick today, so Elaine asked if I could come home and take care of Sam so she could get rest. Sam seems to be doing better and was driving Elaine nuts!

In fact, Sam is walking around the house with her "new" camera, my old Sony. She is taking pictures of everything! She just walked away and said, "I love this thing!"

Ellis makes me laugh whenever I take photos since the course we did together. He questions me to make sure I'm in the right mode etc... I love it! - it shows he learned a lot and more importantly remembered it and is putting it to good use. Once or twice he's even come up with suggestions that I hadn't thought of

Can't wait til I can afford the new camera I want. I'm getting a small payout in a few months, so hopefully, (as long as we dont have to buy a new fridege freezer or dishwasher) I'll get it then.

Thanks! It was rather painless this time - a new dentist and he was super sweet and gentle...I have to be honest, it's just a regular cleaning that I'm crying over. But it turns out, I have to get SEVEN fillings! Not good. But we're going to break it down to a few visits, plus - it'll give my wallet a break too. I just have terrible fear of dentists...I passed out once after I had my wisdom tooth extracted .

We lived in the bronx back then and we still went out and played all day!!! Just had to be home for dinner!! Can't even imagine.

Sorry to interrupt, is this Bronx, NY?!

It is; it's been raining for three days now, and another storm is just about on top of me. I have all the windows in the house open so I can air out the house, and now I've gotta go & close them all! Like to see some south Carribean sunshine!!

On Saturday there is a car show in town. Elaine is going to a youth retreat so it will be just me and the kids home. I am thinking I might take them to the car show and take my camera and snap a few pictures. I also might go to the submarine base and go to the museum there and snap a few too. The kids like going there and walking around the USS Nautilus.

I know what you mean - I have a big copy from one of Disney's booklets; I cut it out of the book & ironed it flat. Now I can't stop looking at it! "We'll go here & eat, here & do this, here & do that.' Driving Teresa & our girls nuts!
