I emailed my TA to see why I wasn't getting any upgrade or even upgrade offers!!

What's up with that???

Seriously - I'm happy with our room location (and we already have a verandah) but I'm just feeling a little left out and lonely!

Quick - someone call and offer me an upgrade so I will feel loved.

BTW - where the heck has Jeff been lately???? His auditors are gone - he has no excuse!!

Karen and Jen - I'll update the Dis Tag spreadsheet that I've been keeping up with in a week or two.... with all the changes going on, it's making my head SPIN!!!!

I have people pm'ing me too Angie, so we'd better check everyones once things settle down a bit.

Come and join us in the UK Angie. None of us have received a telephone call or an upgrade.

I had the screen open and was staring at cabin 5020 thinking and willing it to "change to walt suite"

Actually, we're pretty happy with ours. We don't have a porthole, but we're very close to the door. Everything is easily accessible from deck 5.

You may not need your armour...the price would have to be awful cheap for me to change now.

But I'll put on my armour to help you plow through everyone else.

Thanks... I kinda figured they'd fix it for us, but I don't like playing the waiting game. I'm a planner and don't like to put things on hold.

But, we're pretty happy. As far as we're concerned, we got a decent upgrade and it didn't cost us any more. It doesn't look like they were upgrading cat 12 Gty's to portholes anyway.

The TA came through for us. (wasn't too happy about it though)

She also told us starting in 2010, they were not doing the cat 12 gty any more. It actually discusses their plans on the DCL website.

Yeah my parents booked over a year ago a 12 GTY and they were assigned the first 12 in the front of the ship. I think they were disappointed at first, but after reading room reports, and being told it would cost them $500 to upgrade to a 10, they decided to just stick it out.

We are on deck 7 midship in an 11, and I like our location. It is convenient to all parts of the ship.

Yeah, Chris, keep checking they can upgrade you right up to the port. If they've got someone who wants your room then you'll move up and they'll get your room.
