10/24/2009 Bash on the Boat (I'm with B.O.B.) - Thread #27

I'm back. It's the continuing saga of my internet woes. After being cut off constantly last night, I went out and bought all new DSL filters for all of our phones. Then when Installing one of them the line went dead. I had to run back out to the store and buy a new phone recepticle and install it. Everything working now. Hopefully for good!

I'm glad it was resolved. Although, I'd have liked to see you with a porthole.

Not real concerned about not getting a porthole since the upgrades really haven't been that great.

I think DCL has change their policy to calling guests and offering discounted upgrades instead.

We're really pretty happy. We were able to choose where we wanted to be. Can't beat that.

I have some real issues here,Do we wait for the magnet to get here or wait until the lady in the printed T-shirt said we can start and how will we know who to TAG if everbody upgrades?,Am told theirs a lot of BOBers shacked up together in the Roy and Walt suites (Whatever they get up to is their affair and nobody else's) but do we TAG them or leave them to carry on with their own "Games" .....

PS... should WE be grouped by deck at the meet by the pool?......If so do we need to be wearing our BOB,DISStag or KK shirt?.......

i dont think she was very happy with us at all.
got a quick "hello. your cabin is 5633", email and that was it.

i called robin and shes relieved. she was stressing out.

Hey all, I can not keep up with you but I did see that a few got upgrades- congrats! We are still in 7084-no phone calls but I am really happy with our room.

We are on deck 7 midship in an 11, and I like our location. It is convenient to all parts of the ship

Hey are you a neighbor? If so I may have to help you decorate your door with Oakland A's stuff. I am really helpful that way

Sorry to leave ya hanging Steve. We are extremely happy that we no longer have one of the most obstructed view SPH's anymore.

Tony and Stacy were also offered an upgrade but we turned that offer down.
They would be much happier staying in their sideways cabin than the one that was offered to them.

Congrats on all the other upgrades BOBers!!!

We are in 7537. It's starboard side between the forward and midship elevators/stairs.

It was a fight but I came out victorious

We are now in 5520 so we won't be going for a port upgrade

I've missed a lot but kind of caught up --- CONGRATS to everyone on all the upgrades!

Is anyone else on Deck 8? I feel like we are all alone! Who's going to see all these magnets??

Today was rough.. I've been on here reading a little, checking in, and now I have to leave again.. I guess I missed Biggest Loser already... I need to update the DVR for these new shows!
