10/24/2009 Bash on the Boat (I'm with B.O.B.) - Thread #27

Well, My GTY was assigned. Room 6534! Yay. I got a Cat 6 room. It's forward, nearly right above the SPH rooms. So, I'll be close to a lot of other BOB'ers. If I remember correctly, the SPH rooms are completely taken up with BOBer's right?

You're just down the hall from us Steve.

Well, we got upgraded from our 12 GTY to a CAT 10. I'm happy with the room location and happy about the upgrade but not happy that we are in a connecting room

I will be trying to get an upgrade at the port I guess

Yay on the upgrade... :-( on it being a connecting room! Maybe you'll have another BoBer in the connecting room! Wouldn't it be great if Uncle Mike and Auntie Robin were there!! (since the are GOING to get those upgrades... or else Steve will use his ANGRY EYES!!)

No, that would be horrible!!! I know my sweet baby girl and she has a lot of meltdowns and cries a lot. I don't wish any BOBer to be in that connecting cabin next to ours!!!

I REALLY hope they have some paid upgrades available at the port

Rob sent this to me. I'm not sure if these were mass produced or this is just a prototype, but apparently it was made for children to use during the Cold War....

She sounds like my Becca when she was Kira's age. We took Becca to WDW and Universal Studios when she was 22 months old (back in 2003) and BOY was that a mistake! My normally easy going, laid back kid became a screaming, crying, melt-downy monster. I think she was just overwhelmed by the "go go go" and crowds (and she's NOT my autistic kid!! LOL)

I'm sure she will do great! Plus - everyone on a cruise should KNOW to bring earplugs (if you are on deck 6 - I would recommend them - I SNORE LIKE A FREIGHTTRAIN!!!)

It's terrible!! I had my annual physcial on Friday and the doctor asked me if I snore. I told him HECK YEAH!! And it's LOUD too!!

He then asked - does your husband ever listen to you and hear you stop breathing?

I told him "Only when he puts a pillow over my head to stop the noise" (SERIOUSLY... told the doc that!) doc didn't laugh as much as i did... had to tell him I was joking... I HOPED!

Do you think she would want to call the TA before COB?

i called robin. shes going to wait and see what the other cat 12'ers get. the TA told us to let us know and then she'll adjust accordingly. if i'm not mistaken, she said the worst she'd give us would be a cat 11. and she'd pay the diff. (that tells me she knows she messed up. but still wont admit it)
