Well it's a cool rainy day here in the State of Maine. Tonight we are going to get the remince of Danny. Just a big bag of raine now.
Joanne I hope you sore mouth has improved. I know a tooth ache can be painful.
Over the past few years both Nancy and I have been having crowns done . All but 4 of my teeth are crowns' and I think Nancy is about the same.
Well we must be getting close folks because Nancy printed out our cruise packing list last night:yay::yay:.
Everybody have a great day.

Dan

Hey all!!

Only a few more weeks to go! Woo Hoo!!! My to do list is getting shorter and shorter!! Got the FE gifts, got the magnets organized, the baby is booked into Flounders and now I am onto the BOB T shirts... Does anyone have pics of former shirts they have made? I am looking for some inspiration! I am thinking of the standard orange sign with a personalized message and then our names on the back.

Any other ideas? photos?

Thanks!!

You're gonna laugh, but these are the only pics I have of our t-shirts.
These are from last cruise...we haven't made any for this on yet.

Here goes... :rotfl2:

This is a pic at St Maarten. Since we're not doing any excursions, we figured we'd just shop a little, hang out on this beach here and people watch. Sure is a nice view of the ship. :thumbsup2

OK, I've got a cruise question....

Can someone tell me more about the rainforest room at the spa? I've heard it's nice, but some more info would be good....

Oh, I just counted up my door signs....so far I have 9. I may need to rotatte them around during the week!

I took the tour...it seemed pretty nice. I don't think I could sit still long enough to do it. :rotfl2:

Ok, I'll let go of our 'secret'. Suprised you didn't know about them already! Get a cup from the drink station, put about an inch or less of milk in the bottom, grab a wooden coffee stirring stick, and head over to Scoops, fill it up with soft-serve, cover it with chocolate sauce, stir & enjoy! :goodvibes

My wife is the one that invented them (for us), but I've seen other people having them on the boat, too. :cloud9:

Wow! Ingenious! I'll have to try it.

My whole gang will be wearing t-shirts...I made up shirts, door magnets, and custom luggage tags as a "cruise preparation" package for my in-laws for Christmas last December. My family-'s shirts aren't done yet, but they will be similar to the in-laws' shirts.

Fronts will have BOB logo with names:

And the backs will have DCL Eastern and favorite characters:

Oh man! Your shirts look so much better than mine. I wish I'd have thought to put the mickey head and favorite character on the back. It looks so much better in larger form than smaller form like I did it. I had thought about doing the fronts of our shirts just like you did. That looks nice too. Great Job!

Nice! Very Nice. :rotfl2: I remember that pic. Made me laugh then and still does.

I didn't book any excursions for St. Maarten either. (I spent the money on MNSSHP) That must be the beach that the passporter said was close to the ship. (15 min walk) I'm going to build sandcastles.

on that dis site update page, they have pics that the magic kingdom has been decorated for halloween.:woohoo:
we're gettting close.:wizard:

once we hit sept 1st on tuesday, we'll be able to say "we're cruising next month".:wizard::woohoo:

It is a nice view. In view of the other things we've seen you create, watching Steve Nye, the science guy build a sandcastle should be fun. :rotfl2: :thumbsup2

those are sure great t shirts.

I want to go into Cove Cafe. A movie might be nice, too. Oh, and I want to sleep all night next to my husband without a child or dog in between.

the cove cafe is very nice. I like the little treats there. Also the strawberry smoothies. right Mike and Robin.

I had a FO today and so far this whole page. No one is on adviously. Walt went for a ride yesterday with his buds and today too. I decided to stay and have fun with grandkids and daughters. Erika is in from Dallas. Yesterday we ate at Pei Wei and then hung out at Kristen's house. They were singing and acting and having a grand old time. Today I dont know what we will do but i am sure it will be fun. Maybe the river. I dont know. Talk to you all later. It is time to shower and get ready to have some real fun family time. YEAH!!!!!!!!

Never been in there so that's something new to try.

I think I want to try the rainforest room...and I want to make it to Rockin Bar D at least one night!

Two more places I haven't tried.

OK, I've got a cruise question....

Yes, tell me more about the rainforest room please.

Take a blanket when you go to the movie...it's freezing in their. :thumbsup2

Now back in the day there were other ways to keep warm in the movies besides blankets!!!!

This was the group shot from last time

Nice pictures - and I recognize lots of folks!!!

You know, I don't think I've ever had a piece of pizza from Pinnochio's.

So..what's the one thing that you want to do on this trip that you haven't done before?

Another new thing I could try.

A night launch would be neat to see live. Without TV, it probably would be better to see to the naked eye than a day launch.

We saw a launch from a distance once - we were coming out of Boardwalk main entrance as it was going up. Impressive even from that far away!!

Rob and I got back from our movie last night just in time to watch the shuttle take off on Nasa Live TV :thumbsup2 For awhile there, when you could only see the lights of the engines, it looked like a hidden mickey :earboy2:
