I think thay have stopped that. In May we didin't have to do the early morning trek to the theater. But we didin't go to ST Maarten then either.

We didnt do it on the Western but I think one of the stops on the Eastern means things are different, but I'm not sure:confused3

Question!

Shutters - is it the same process as before - scour the walls looking for your piccies or has something better been organised up there?

Unfortunately yes, they do have a new thing they are trying out with these computers right out side shutters, but not all your pictures get on it,

Good morning all just thought I would jump in and say Hi before Nancy and I head out for our morning walk.
Nancy has been trying on all her outfits for the cruise and is all set. As for me well one suit Blue blazer and gray pants with a few new dress shirts and im ready. Just give me my shorts and t-shirts and bathing suit.:lmao::lmao::lmao:

ARE READY FOR THIS

Lunchime Greetings one and all.

Hey guys and dolls,
Just wanted to pop in and announce that sometime hopefully within the next 24 hours I will be a great auntie! My niece is being induced as I type. So please prayer and pixie dust for a safe quick delivery would be great!

You can join the Great Auntie Club with me. Congrats Sista.

Question!

Do we need our passports (or photo ID) each time we leave the ship? - it says so in the DCL brochure, but I dont remember takig my passport each time:confused3

No, I don't remember ever taking them off the ship. Certainly no-one ever asked for them.

Now that you mention it, it is a good Idea to take them. Should you have any interaction with the Authorities (God Forbid) you'd want to have them.

When we leave the ship, we take our drivers license with us and a COPY or our passport. This way, if we are in a non-US country, that page can be used by the US Embassy (or similar body) to get our information. The passport stays safely on the ship.

I don't recall if DCL looks at our ID while reboarding or not.

Take photocopies with you Karen, but you now have your photo on your Key to the World card. But I would still carry some photo ID with you at all times.

Question!

St Thomas - do we have to do anything re immigration inspection??

Disembarking - whats the 6am thing??? Where do we go, what do we do? - I was hoping for a lie in:rolleyes:

That one that I'm hoping we no longer have to do.

I like archery best so far

We haven't tried that one yet.

I like archery as well. Didn't see/feel much different with the bowling.

DS likes playing the sword fighting and anything with the airplane. I can't control the plan worth crap (I can fly it, but have no idea where I'm going).

My brother did well on the Frisbie Golf.

Speaking of Wii Bowling, on the original Sports disc, I bowled 14 straight strikes. Unfortunately, it was 5 at the end of one game and then 9 in the next one. In the second game I didn't strike in the 10th frame. Ended with a 277. I don't think I'll ever beat that. Closest I'll come to a perfect game.

They tel you to take your photo ID even at CC which I don't understand since our pictures are now in the system?

DS is finally up. Time to start his LAST day of summer vacation. Not sure what we'll be doing. He mentioned something about mini-golf, so I'm sure that will be in the plans. We have tickets to the baseball game tonight, but I woke up this morning and my back was worse than when I went to bed last night. Not sure how long I can sit.

I don't know why they just don't put your picture on the KTTW card like other cruiselines do. That, along with the picture on the screen when you reboard would be enough.

Although, always best to have some type of ID on you when you're off the ship, especially if it is in a foriegn country.

Nancy and I just got back from our 3 mile walk. Did it in 54 min this morning. Now it's time to go get a hair cut.

I have photocopies - I'll take those:thumbsup2

Good morning everyone...

Hope all is well. Today I am staying home with DS this morning, and then going to the office this afternoon.

Sorry to hear about your back, Jeff. I hope you can still enjoy the last summer day with DS.:thumbsup2

Heather, Becky and Chris (AFEG),

One year ago today we were sailing the Panama Canal. It went quick, but at the same time feels like a long time ago.
