Made ressies today for Whispering Canyon Cafe for dinner just before MNSSHP on Friday. Place looks great and I can't wait to sink my teeth into a Steak!

You mean you made reservations for a late lunch, right Steve? Don't forget, you can enter the MK at 4:00 with your MNSSHP tickets. 3 extra hours of fun. :cool1:

Jeff, You Rock!

No I did not know that I could get into MK 3 hours early! I'll have to change that reservation but for a really good reason. I made the ressie for 5:10 thinking that we'll be done by 7pm and can get into the park.

Laura says, "I'm so glad that we have all these friends that are so knowledgeable about WDW!"

Thanks

Just a general question on Pirate Night. Of those that have cruised before, what are your views on dressing up for pirate night? Do people go all out or is it very low key?

A lot of people go all out. I'm doing less this time because im trying to keep my luggage to a minimum. I'll be dressing "pirate-like" I think Laura will do the same. Stuart and Leah will have some pirate costumes that they can wear. They'll do double duty with MNSSHP.

It's Sunday

A shirt for the cruise for Chuck, two pairs of Nike's for him, socks for him, a pair of shoes for me and two shirts for Tony. Wait until you guys see their ties for formal night! :rotfl:

Can't wait.:rotfl:

The Repo was a year ago?? :scared1: I remember how excited I was for all of you too. I even got to talk to you all at the port. I think Jeff was passing his cell phone around to everyone. I watched a few episodes of the Love Boat that day too.

Remember how a few of us even took the day off from work to watch you all go through the canal? Good times!!!!:grouphug:

I'd forgotten about this Nancy. The noise level was ear splitting everyone was so excited.

My girl is completely involved in playing with her new Polly Pocket Aurora that we bought this morning at Walmart

I didn't know they still made Polly Pocket. I remember my niece loved these 10 years ago.

I GIVE UP!!!!!!!

The girls and I have been working on part of the FE gifts all afternoon and have had so much fun doing so. Since we were in a cruise kind of mood, I decided to start making my fish extender. I followed the directions for the "no-sew" kind and after 4 hours of working on it, I have to say....

It looks like my 2nd grader could make one better. :rotfl2:

So, after putting it almost all the way together, I realized - there is no salvaging it and it REALLY looks bad (I mean REALLY!!)

Ebay.... here I come. That's what I get for trying to save a few bucks. The $30 FE (had I purchased it on ebay FIRST) ended up costing me about $70 (+ my time!!!) Oh well - now I know that's not one of my strength! :headache:

Oh Angie....sounds like you need a  You'll be pleased with you FE though.

Well I've dressed up before and as you can see my DH chose not too.

I think you'll see the whole spectrum on pirate night, from not dressing up, to Pirate style t shirts and accessories, to all dressed up....

This is us in '07:

and I think we'll be dressing up again.

Good morning everyone...

Getting ready to head out for our Sunday services, but wanted to say hey first.

The Yankees won yet again last night. They just keep rolling along. :thumbsup2

That's exactly why I am not making one!!!! I didn't see any I liked on Ebay, so I will probably just by something at Walmart/Target that I can hang on our FE.

Thats the plan for our kids right now, but I am a little worried about them wearing costumes around the MK for so long and into the night. I am worried they will get tired of them.

I think I am going to like Rick! That is pretty much my exact wardrobe for pirate night last time, and I don't expect that to change this time around. :thumbsup2

Me and my dad with the kids at the Pirate Party last time around. Notice my dad took his rag of already!

Good morning all....

Pete and Thomas had a lovely day yesterday at the Maritime Heritage festival in Port Washington, and had a fabulous day shopping with my mom. Found my dress for formal night (sorry Mike, it's not red) and some good deals on some summer tops.

Today we will be lounging around the house.....

Sorry you're struggling Angie!!

You should have seen me the first time I tried to do door signs (back for my '07 cruise) I'd spend 4 hours at the computer and have nothing to show for it!
