Ok, I am going way out of my comfort zone here.

I am starting to design door signs and possibly t shirts. I am designing them on my home computer, then I will print everything on my work computer. I am going to be ordering a new color laser printer for my office so that should work nicely. I'm listening to my Disney playlist on iTunes for inspiration. James Newton Howard's Flying is on right now!

Keep in mind though you may not be able to do all t-shirt transfers on a color laser printer - most of the transfers I've seen are for inkjet printers. Not to discourage you from t-shirts but just letting you know!

For everyone booked at the Radisson, I spoke to my contact person there again about the shuttle. She told me they will have a shuttle set for the group for 10:00, I asked again if it could be any earlier than that and she didn't think so, she said she didn't think DCL would allow them to shuttle guests over any earlier, but she said we can talk more about that when it gets closer. She also said that when it gets closer we'll talk more about a lsit of how many and who will be taking the shuttle so as soon as I get more info on that I'll pass that on to all of you

Thanks Cheryl. Rick and I will probably use the hire car and then drop the car off at the hire desk.

That sounds like a lot of fun. I was planning on meeting Angie and girls for lunch tomorrow but I now have to go to Roanoke to meet my mom and drop off Alex. She wants to go to WV for the week.

I'm about to head out to lunch, but I have a question I hope you other non-first time cruisers can help me with.

I'm starting to compile a clothes packing list and I realized that I don't really know what people wear on the boat during the day.... I know we shouldn't wear shorts to dinner, but what about during the day - tshirt and shorts acceptable?? Any pics would be appreciated (I'm too lazy to search for them myself now... LOL)

We live in our swim suits and if we want to go in side for a movie or some presentation I just put on my t shirt & shorts over it. Don't forget a sweater or sweat shirt the theaters can be cold.

Can anyone give me some good ideas for a good 13th birthday party? Alex wanted to take a few friends to Water Country and that is what we were gonna do. But now she can't really get around well enough to do that I am at a loss. I know you all creative people can help.

That's us. And when I do put on shorts and a shirt it is for such a short time I usually wear them again. DON'T OVERPACK!!!!!! I do it everytime but get better each time.

That's good to know! Right now I believe I have enough in my IT reserve to buy the inkjet printer, but I may have some hassle getting the laser.

My laser I am using right now is quickly dying. It always cuts off the right margin and gets confused about papersize. It is over 10 years old, so it might be a good time to upgrade.

Those of you at AK, like June and I, are you eating lunch there or going somewhere for a big meal before the party?

Are any of you making ADR's for this?
