Yay! Congrats to Emily:thumbsup2
How long is she there till Paige?

And what are you and Alex going to do? Planning something fun?

She'll be there until the 11th. She's having a good time, seeing old friends. It still makes me laugh when I remember the time she told me, "Mom, lots of the the kids in my school have lived their whole lives here in Monterey!?!" I told her, "Yes, that is what "normal" people do." :rotfl::rotfl: She had never been to schools outside the DoD, so she didn't realize that kids weren't always moving and going to different schools. When she was a little younger (right around the time we lived in Monterey--middle school) I think she envied that. Now I think she sees how she has lived as an advantage (for her, anyway).....When we move or when a good friend moves, it is hard, though.

As for me and Alex--We didn't plan anything because Rob was home until dinner time last night. I let him sleep in my bed and I even watched American Gladiators with him. that old show now plays on one of the ESPN channels. My boy is hooked on ESPN!:rotfl:

:wizard::wizard::wizard:For Lori's Alex, and for Melissa. I hope they find out what's going on real soon.

Good morning everyone. Its been quiet lately, but that means everyone is really busy. This is our slow time of the year, so its pretty dead for us.

I am going to be doing a trippie for this cruise and was wondering when people typically start the pre trip reports. I plan on taking pictures of literally everything so that the trip report is very in depth. Is anyone else planning on doing a trip report?

Ditto from us:hug:

That would be Alex. She fell on Saturday morning and broke her ankle.:headache: At least it has plenty of time to heal before the cruise.:thumbsup2

:grouphug: Alex!!! Oh no! She has time to heal so she can run around the ship and the beach!

I have made my appearance again. Melissa is doing better. She was back in the emergency room two weeks ago, with same symptoms, dizziness and trouble breathing. The stupid emergency room doc said nothing was wrong, and we had to follow up with primary care doctor. We explained to the nurse and doctor that she was unable to keep anything down, including her prescriptions, and I asked if they thought she might be dehydrated. They all said not, that vomitting is not a sign of dehydration. Being very upset with the results, we went to the walk in clinic, where she was given three bags of iv fluid. We also found out that three of the five medications, were doing nothing for her, and unknown why they were prescribed to her. The scary part is we still do not know what is causing the mystery illness.

:grouphug: Hugs to Melissa! I hope they find out what's wrong with her soon. I had a "mystery illness" like this last year and it was SOOOO rough. Praying for you guys!

:rotfl2: Since I am now a "graduated" Air Force Brat who moved every 4 years - it was an unbeleivable SHOCK for my rising 6th grade daughter to have attended the SAME elementary school for all 6 years.... it's really neat. I have to say, though, I enjoying having met so many people over my life and I woudn't trade the moving all around the country/world for ANYTHING!!

I am not sure what we are doing for the trip report, but I think we probably better start one... The last trip report we did was back in 2003 and I LOVE going back and reading it (not a lot of pictures in it, but it brings back the great memories from the trip).

Okay, I'm still really very new to the DIS in terms of posting and participating, and quite frankly, I'm a little overwhelmed! LOL! You guys are awesome! We're cruising with you on 10/24 and certainly want to be involved in the fun. I just read that we missed the Fish Extender deadline. We made our own last year--"Pirates of the Carribean" of course.

Is there an official list to get on in order to participate in other activities or get togethers on board? I don't want to miss out on anything else. Please point me in the right direction.

Thanks!

I can add you to the first page "Cast of Characters." Most people list their names, childrens ages and state of residence. If you would like to be added, just let me know.

 and prayers for Melissa. I think you should file a complaint against that ER doc.

 For Alex or should we call her Grace ;) Hope things heal up fast before the cruise.

Welcome back to the BOB thread!!!! :cool1:

Is this Jeff or Angie that posts?

I see you introduced yourself way back in April on Thread 22, but for some reason never made it to Pag 1. Is your group still the same as listed below:

OMG this is overwhelming! BUT, I'd like to join the party!! My family and I will be cruisin' with all of you in October. Coming along will be Jeff, Angie, Dustin (14), and Adrienne (11). Looking forward to getting to know some of you and planning our trip. Also can't wait to hear more about the B.O.B. You all sound like a crazy fun group.

Hey I am an Air Force brat too! And yes, I am glad my son doesn't have to go through it, although we are itching to move....

Welcome Jada,

I am Gina and traveling with my husband Douglas and son, Sean (7). I think there is a popular rotation for dinner but I can't recall what it is - anyone??

Are you booking excursions and reservations this weekend?

We booked two that are non-Disney already. Folks here are full of info about that too.

We're doing PLA. The one that should keep us in Lumiere's for formal night and Parrot Cay for Pirate night. (Unless they change it on us)
