I lost 1/2lb.... half a pound,......... all that walking and dieting for half a stoooooooooooopid pound

Iknow, I know, I should be happy, blah blah blah, but I need it to come off quicker than this

Oh well, I'll stick at it.

At least it wasn't a gain...that is my goal this time around. I weigh in tomorrow and I do not think it will be good

Quick post - asking for prayers and hugs for my brother and his wife. My SIL just delivered their twin (Marlee and Merrick) this morning around 2 am. They were only at 24 weeks gestation (She was due November 8th). They are 1 1/2 pounds each and fighting like crazy.

My brother is in Iraq now and the Red Cross is going to try to get him home asap to be with his wife. I don't have a lot of details as this has only been happening for past 7 hours.

SIL (Natalie) is surrounded by her family (mom and dad) and we are thankful for that. All prayers and hugs are appreciated. Thanks so much.

Hey all, guess we have to pull the pin on this cruise date. We are having too many "issues" with my Father and no one in the area that can take over when we are away. I realize we are still 3 months away, but it is better to accpet the inevitable (SP) now then a few days before the ship sails. We are cruising again in Feb, so we may just move this booking, as it is paid in full, to make it a back to back.

Does anyone know when the cutoff is for the gas surcharge refund? I know that the price of the barrel needs to be below $70 for us to get a credit. This will be in form of a statroom credit right? I want to watch the market to see...extra $$ equals extra drinks

Looks like I can't dis any more from the office. They did some major network changes this week end. We could not even log on until after lunch, have not recieved any emails since friday and we can't print. Why do they do this &^( at month end?????

Now I get to move all this home this week, so I am sure I will be down another day!!

Quick update on my niece and nephew.... Merrick (the boy) started breathing on his own and Marlee (the girl) is not far behind. THey are AMAZING!!!! I have been calling them the Wonder Twins and apparently the name is sticking with them.

On the determination day for 3Q 2009, which was June 17th, the price was above $70. The sad thing is, the price was manipulated up by a broker/trader (I think in London). At least that is what I heard on one of the business channels.

The determination day for 4Q 2009 should be Sept 17th. Now if runs up that day, I say DCL is to blame.

BTW, I may be off a day and it is the 18th of the month, but for some reason the 17th is in my mind.

We ususally travel with another family, but they couldn't come this trip. This leaves the girls to entertain each other....which usually ends up in fighting! So, are there any girls entering the 3rd or 8th grades that will be on this trip?


Another question - does anyone know how much a taxi would cost from the cruise ship to Coral World/Coki Beach on St. Thomas?

Welcome to the BOB. If you check Post #1, there should be the ages of the other kids cruising with us. I believe there are some girls the ages of your daughters.

Also, I believe there is also a kids' thread for this cruise. Maybe one of the parents of the kids who post there can put the link up here for you. I don't believe that link is in Post #1.

As for taxi's here is a chart with the rates. Coki looks to be $9 each.

Not really. It was down $0.31 today, but still over $68 per barrel. Not exactly sure which "type" of oil they go by (might be West Texas), but here is a link to the price of crude oil.
