Good morning everyone!

Today Elaine left to go teach at Camp for a week. My kids go out there tomorrow as campers for a week, so I will be flying solo at home until next Wednesday night. I plan to watch a lot of baseball, a lot of movies and just relax! The toilet seat will stay up, and without the kids, the house will stay really clean!!!! :thumbsup2

I will miss them of course though. A quiet house gets too quiet after a day or so. My dog goes into extra protective mode and barks at everything when the rest of the family is gone.

As far as food goes, I have plenty of pepsi, plenty of burgers, hot dogs and chicken breasts, so I will be in good shape as far as that goes. I may splurge one night and buy myself a steak.

My last night home though, I am going to New York for a Yankee game. It wasn't part of my plan, but I wanted to buy tickets when the family was gone so I picked them up. Aerosmith and ZZ top is also coming to the casino a few miles away on Sunday night, but tickets started at $125 each and I have a cruise to pay for in a couple of weeks, so that is out as well.

Walt and I had a great time here in Niagara Falls, Canada. We walked around. We ate at Kelsey's for dinner and had a Canadian Molson. It was good. Our first Canadian beer.

WELCOME TO CANADA!!!!:drinking1

Here's some fun pics.

At the Christmas Carol Train Tour we were able to morph our own faces into those of the main characters of the film.

And from different countries too!!! ;)

Hmmmmm, If Cass will be away, seems a shame for my favorite Canadian Mountie Rob to be all alone.:cloud9: A trip to the frozen tundra may be in order.:yay:popcorn::

Careful there Red, I got two big dogs and they don't like skanks, you won't get anywhere near my man :snooty:

Enjoy that Cass and Rob! I am home alone for a week starting Friday morning, so I might go see a matinee this weekend.

Let me know how it is.

How was the movie?

It was good! I like action movies but for me, this one had a little too much action. It was still good though! :thumbsup2

I have a question- has anyone cruised Celebrity?

We have cruised with them a couple of times - we really like them. The food is a notch above most of the other lines, the ships were nice and the staff top notch. The medical staff (and their well-equipped ship) also saved my dad's life (heart attack) so they will always hold an extra-special place in my heart for that, too.

Easy on the comments about the Red Sox. Well at least Roger will enjoy himself.
Enjoy your days off. This is my final week of work until next spring.
I think we might see the sun today we have had eight streight days of rain or showers. It better clear off before July 11th thats when we head for York Beach for two weeks.

I'll bet they will Laurie. :cloud9:

I was always wondering how good the medical help on the ships really were. I remember seeing an episode of the Love Boat where Dr Bricker did brain surgery on a passenger!!! He didn't know how but did it over the radio with a hospital. Funny, no iv was hooked up and I not one other Dr cruising at the time. :goodvibes

I'm glad it all worked out for your dad though. :flower3:

Well according to my contact pop-up, not one other "friend" is signed on right now. Maybe a stealther or two though?

Have a nice evening everyone. :)

Sounds like a FUN week alone!! I wish you had been able to get reasonable Aerosmith tickets - would LOVE to see them in concert (after my all time favorite band - Bon Jovi :cloud9:-woo hoo - (child of the 80's))

Take care of yourself while you play bachelor!
