Our family tradition: Breakfast at O'Hana.

Our family tradition: Breakfast at O'Hana.

For my first two cruises, I have always had early dinner and never felt rushed. I prefer keeping to my usual meal time.
Woo hoo (I think)... I had actually been excited about the late seating so as to not feel rushed, but in reality, we eat dinner at home around 5:30/6:00, so it's really more reasonable to be in the early seating. I guess our waitlist request was granted.
Cool! NOw I just have to tell Cass to update us on the BOB site.
Here's a cruise question - can I book excursions/Palo/spa for my in-laws at 90 days if we're all linked and we're all paid in full?
Yes, I believe you canWhen I went to book parasailing last time, it had a list of ALL linked ressies and I could have booked Mike, Robin, Jeff, Karen, Walt & Di and Lori for parasailing too
I wasn't feeling that generous though
You can also use their ressie number and sign them up with DCL (using their info like bdays etc.) and make their ressies for them. That's what I did for my inlaws last time since they were clueless about everythingI filled out their online forms and booked what they wanted for them
Also, at 75 days, you can book a table at Palo for up to 4 people, you don't need to give names, just book your Palo ressie and it asked for how many people (up to 4)I will be booking our Palo dinner at 75 days for 4 so that Bernie and Sean can join us

Sigh....
I'm looking through the DCL excursions and the port links on the BOB website...still trying to make some pics for excursions.
So, here's my next question...if I am not planning to shop for anything expensive (jewelry, perfume, etc.) is it worth it to plan some shopping time? Are there local markets, or is it just "duty-free" shopping?
I'm a guy, I could care less about Caribbean shopping!
Sorry I can't help.
Great Question and sorry, I don;'t have an answer for you - but I have the EXACT same question!!Any former cruisers can help??
I'm here checking in every few minutes.Where is everyone tonight?![]()
St Thomas has a fantastic shopping area right at the site where we dock called Havensight Mall. There's duty free stuff as well as typical souvenirs like t-shirts and things like that.
There's also a straw market type shopping area when you get into the town area (Charlotte Amalie) with home made gifts and trinkets and necklaces and stuff.
St Maarten has a downtown/shopping/dining area when you get off at the second stop on the Ferry. You can walk up and down the street to find all different kinds of stores. I wouldn't wander too far away though, stay with all the tourists. You can also find tons of shopping and dining on the French Side in Marigot
Hope that helps!
I'm off to finally eat supper![]()
My first couple of camera's as a kid had those flashes, and they were expensive! At least for a 10 year old!Since Karen is probably still in dreamy nap time, she will have to read this when she wakes up.... I just saw an artice online that Kodak is retiring it's oldest type of file - mostly due to the advent of digital photography. Here is the link.

Funny thing - how many of your kids now want to see the picture immediately - they don't understand how you had to "send out" your film for development?? Anyone here remember the flashbulbs that only had 4 or 6 at a time!!! Ah... childhood memories!
