My name is Angie and we will be going on our very first cruise on 10/24 and we decided to do it up right with a Disney Cruise!!

It will be me (age 36), my DH, Dave (41) and two DDs - Abby (11) and Becca - who will be turning 8 on the day we set sail! We are from the Richmond, Virginia area.

I'm a little nervous about the kids activities so I would love to "meet" people with kids the same age so my girls can have some people "known" to them ahead of time.

Hi! I'm Pam and we'll be cruising with you guys on Oct. 24th. It's me (43), my DH, Glen (44) and our DD, Allison (turns 12 August 1st). Our DD does meet friends really fast and last year on the Magic (november) we saw her the 1st day and then she was off! We had a few stipulations...check-in with us periodically, shows, dinner! She had the time of her life!! She met so many kids and took pictures galore. She made a scrapbook of her trip of pictures with her new friends! Hopefully she'll meet a lot of kids on this cruise also. She has read the Twilight series and loved it!

Sorry for the short stay kids, but we have lots to do today. Our Nephews b-day party is this afternoon and I need to run some errands this morning.

Just an update, the last 2 weeks have been busy with DS out of school since May 28th and me taking a few days off with him. Then our friend from Vegas came into watch him. Plus we had to move out of the house for a couple days because we had our wood floors refinished (all of our entry points have wood, and since we couldn't walk on them, we went to a hotel). Been doing other cosmetic changes too to the house. Almost back to normal - hopefully next weekend.

I've been up since 4.45am this morning, just couldnt sleep. "Oh well, I'll Dis" I thought....WRONG!..... of all the nights for it to be down

Oh well, I was doing aerobics by 5am and completed that and bathed by 6.20am

Wasnt through choice Cass, I had taken a sudafed (degongestant) tablet and for some reason it stops me from sleeping. I was so bunged up and congested I had to choose between sleep or breathing.... last night I chose breathing

Yeah, breathing is slightly more important I didn't take the camera for our walk and Kira won't be joining me for my brother's wedding. It's just a small wedding, maybe 30 people I think and no kids so grandma was nice enough to come and sit with Kira while I go to the wedding. I will try to post a Kira pic though

Pam - sounds like our older DDs have a lot in common! Her last day of elemetary school was Friday (now she's a middle schooler - NOOOOOO!!!) and she took one of old cameras with her to school. I think I'll let her take it on the cruise as well. She's getting VERY excited! Hope she makes friends with Allison (Abby will be officially 11 1/2 on August 13th - LOL)

What a great day so far! Me, the DH and two DDs (and darling Mother-in-law - don't know the abbreviation for that LOL) headed to Williamsburg,VA this morning to shop at the outlets!

Actually got youngest DD a couple of great sundresses to wear on the cruise - if she doesn't outgrow them ahead of time!

I am really excited about this group and can't wait to get to know you all before and during the cruise.

Can someone post a link to the kid's chat? I'm going to have my dd (the 11 year old) start trying to make friends over there.

Friday was our last day. It started out ok, we has breakfast outside.

Thanks for sharing these great pictures!! My girls really enjoyed seeing all the neat carvings of the fruit and the pictures of Castaway Cay!
