We had early breakfast and were off the ship by 8. No problems small lines cause they scan your card as you get off the ship now too. But we were in the car and off by 8:30. Stopped atthe disney outlet then went to DTD until about 2 and then headed home.

Here are the shutters pictures. We didin't take many the lines were way too long for all the character shots.

Wow, some great photos Joanne. Shame about the thunderstorm at CC. But looks like you had a great time anyway.

Saturday night FO.

Hi! I'm Pam and we'll be cruising with you guys on Oct. 24th. It's me (43), my DH, Glen (44) and our DD, Allison (turns 12 August 1st). Our DD does meet friends really fast and last year on the Magic (november) we saw her the 1st day and then she was off! We had a few stipulations...check-in with us periodically, shows, dinner! She had the time of her life!! She met so many kids and took pictures galore. She made a scrapbook of her trip of pictures with her new friends! Hopefully she'll meet a lot of kids on this cruise also. She has read the Twilight series and loved it!

Oh...more newbies. Great. :welcome::welcome::welcome: Ask loads of questions, someone will be along to answer. Lots of info on page 1.
How many Disney Cruises have you done?

What a great day so far! Me, the DH and two DDs (and darling Mother-in-law - don't know the abbreviation for that LOL) headed to Williamsburg,VA this morning to shop at the outlets!

Actually got youngest DD a couple of great sundresses to wear on the cruise - if she doesn't outgrow them ahead of time! :rotfl:

I am really excited about this group and can't wait to get to know you all before and during the cruise.

Can someone post a link to the kid's chat? I'm going to have my dd (the 11 year old) start trying to make friends over there.

THanks!

Angie

I love the outlets!:thumbsup2

I know I just joined you, but my 11 year old DD was just diagnosed with very mild Asperger's Syndrome last month (it's a mild form of Autism). She is an honors student, but the Asperger's affects her ability to make friends her own age (basically - she is VERY socially awkward). Super friendly, wants you to like her, VERY intelligent (gets along great with adults)

Anyone else traveling with an Asperger's kid? Or just a normal 11 year old, boy-crazy, Twighlight-obsessed girl?

She is really looking forward to being in the Ocean Quest clubs and is even more excited about checking in/out by herself (mom - not so excited about that part)

Thanks!

Welcome. I'm Nancy & will be cruising with my DH Dan. We are retirees, just the 2 of us cruising. We've been on 3 4 day cruises but this will be our first 7 day.

Re the Aspergers - someone on this board (I don't recall who) mentioned a while back that therirchild had just been diagnosed with something in the Autism spectrum. I do't think you'll be alone.

Hi there, enjoying your nice pictures, especially the food!!

Tell Roger Red Sox already ahead 3-0 in the first inning!! WOW!

Lacrosse season is officially over as of this afternoon. Now it's just T-ball & summer 3-on-3 hockey. Before we know it football will start again!

BTW, we did the galley tour once - very interesting. Have never done the towel folding - was it good?

Well, yes and no - I keep coming in to the computer to check the board. Right now we're watching Modern Marvels - WDW - on the hisory channel. (The RedSox/Phillies game is in a rain delay.) Lots of interesting things about the building of WDW.

Just looking up costume ideas for Alex and I for MNSSHP.
Lots of funny ideas on costumeideazone.com, although some are not quite appropriate for Disney;)
