anyone doing anything fun on the weekend?

We're out with friends on Saturday evening for our usual indian meal - gotta love a good curry!:thumbsup2

Apart from that we've nothing much planned. A lazy 2 days sounds pretty darned good to me.

This afternoon I'm going to a children's production of Lion Witch and Wardrobe with DIL, granddaughter & her friend. Tonight I think we'll go to Jason's hockey ( we can combine it with dinner & shopping). Some people go to Paris for date night - we go to hockey!! Tomorrow are a T-ball game & lacrosse should I choose to go. It's those things that keep me feeling young! Sunday I'm ushering at the local theater. Of course Dan will be working while I'm doing these things.

Did you have them together? Sounds a little sickening! Glad the dinner thing has been settled. You forgot one thing - besides eat & leave, don't you have to pay for it too?!!!! Have a nice day. We're having heavy rain right now.

N

Paying for it is more painful for Tommy than me. :rotfl2::lmao::rotfl2: I did not have them together. It is beautiful here today and this weekend. We are playing in a golf scramble tomorrow so we are going to practice later this afternoon. Tommy like me to play with him because of my handicap.:woohoo:

Dan

Can I come play with you??

My name is Angie and we will be going on our very first cruise on 10/24 and we decided to do it up right with a Disney Cruise!!

It will be me (age 36), my DH, Dave (41) and two DDs - Abby (11) and Becca - who will be turning 8 on the day we set sail! We are from the Richmond, Virginia area.

I'm a little nervous about the kids activities so I would love to "meet" people with kids the same age so my girls can have some people "known" to them ahead of time.

Thanks so much and can't wait to talk to you all!

Girardi should have pulled CC out once the first baserunner got on in the 8th. I was frustrated and went to bed as soon as the game was over.

Good afternoon peeps:goodvibes

Its still sunny here today:cool1:

Just popping in to let you know I'm now sunbathing in my garden:rotfl:

(Sorry to those stuck in a hot office)Wound....salt....rub:lmao:

hmmmmm!

Karen was right, I had wine and chocolate ice cream and feel like a million $. We have shifted everything to a dinner for the bridal party only at South Park. I will show up eat and leave, no preparation or clean up.

Result!

:thumbsup2 Glad you feel better:goodvibes

Remeber at the dinner... if you end up by a realtive or in-law you're not keen on, the more you drink and eat, the nicer than seem:lmao:

I take it that this is learnt from experience Karen.

:welcome::welcome::welcome::welcome: aboard the good ship BOB. I'm Heather and my DH is Rick. No kids in tow for us, but the group is a mixed bunch of ages. Lots of info on the first page. Dive right in and join in the discussions. It gets a bit mad here sometimes...but just go with the flow.

Thanks for all the welcomes!! Boy - you are a chatty group! LOL

I found the BOB website and am tooling around there - so much info!! So much overload!! Can't WAIT!!

DD Abby (who is 11) just had her very last day at Elementary School today - moving on to middle school next year (Waaaaaaaah!)

I know I just joined you, but my 11 year old DD was just diagnosed with very mild Asperger's Syndrome last month (it's a mild form of Autism). She is an honors student, but the Asperger's affects her ability to make friends her own age (basically - she is VERY socially awkward). Super friendly, wants you to like her, VERY intelligent (gets along great with adults)

Anyone else traveling with an Asperger's kid? Or just a normal 11 year old, boy-crazy, Twighlight-obsessed girl?

She is really looking forward to being in the Ocean Quest clubs and is even more excited about checking in/out by herself (mom - not so excited about that part)

Thanks!

Does that work with bosses?

The sun's gone in:rolleyes:

By the time I had my swimusit on the clouds had arrived:rolleyes:

Oh well, I read a few chapters of my novel and relaxed in the clouds instead of the sun:rotfl:
