Good morning everyone. I hope you all had a great Memorial Day weekend!!

Things were well with us. Our Bible Quiz team took 2nd place in their finals, so they are quite happy.

Thursday night, I went to see Terminator. It was an ok movie. I enjoyed it because I like the franchise, but Star Trek blew it away!

No tomorrow night 7.45pm our time,no trip for me this time,mate's been on the blower this morning saying their was trouble in the City last night so god help them when the main block of fans get there,United will have between 35 and 40 thousand fans there for the game.........It's not the Barcelona fans who are looking for the trouble it's the FC Roma fans "The ultra's" .....Getting far too old for all that nonsense,Rome is a beautiful city just not on a match day......

PS....Just need to Karen to pledge her allegiance to Barca now and were all sorted.....

Glad things sound like they are going well Nancy and Dan. I know what you mean about older parents. It's a concern of mine as well.

Now the issue is that it seems like I have to take one of them somewhere every day. Either the dr., the hairdresser, the grocery store. And it's not apparently going to be at my convenience! I can live like that for a couple weeks but I'm not sure I can do it long term. But then I guess you do what you have to. I hope my sister sill step up to the plate when she's recovered from her knee surgery.

They are having an open top procession through the town tonight.

Hope Man Utd do it tomorrow.

We have a holiday here too today Karen. Most businesses are closed but many retailers are open today.

We are going to finish grouting the kitchen backsplash this morning before the kids come over for a cook-out.

Menu:
Lemon Pepper Chicken
Hot Dogs

Hungarian Sausage

Pasta Salad
Fresh Pineapple Spears
Veggies and Dip
Regular Chips and Baked Lays
Baked Beans

Grilled Veggie Packs (Zucchini, Onions, Yellow Squash)
Corn on the Cob

Beverages: Arnold Palmers, Soda, Beer (Landshark....my fav) and lemonade.

Dessert: "Support our Troops" cupcakes and Peanut Butter & Jelly Ice Cream Sandwich's. Kristin is making these using her new Ice Cream maker from the wedding.

We had a cookout, too. Pork chops and ribs, baked beans, rice dressing (aka New Orleans dirty rice), mac n cheese casserole, garlice bread, green salad, corn.
