We have a holiday here too today Karen. Most businesses are closed but many retailers are open today.

We are going to finish grouting the kitchen backsplash this morning before the kids come over for a cook-out.

Menu:
Lemon Pepper Chicken
Hot Dogs
Burgers
Hungarian Sausage

Pasta Salad
Fresh Pineapple Spears
Veggies and Dip
Regular Chips and Baked Lays
Baked Beans

Grilled Veggie Packs (Zucchini, Onions, Yellow Squash)
Corn on the Cob

Beverages: Arnold Palmers, Soda, Beer (Landshark....my fav) and lemonade.

Dessert: "Support our Troops" cupcakes and Peanut Butter & Jelly Ice Cream Sandwich's. Kristin is making these using her new Ice Cream maker from the wedding.

I am here now. In the middle of washing clothes. walt went to bed when I was down at the wash room. what a little devil. we had a big day today. Road in the Rollin Thunder Parade. We rode all around downtown DC. After the parade we walked to all the monuments. We were gone from 615 am to 630 pm. Tomorrow we will go visit my brother and sister in law in Silver Springs Maryland about 45 minutes away. Hopefully we will have a calm down day. today was so busy. diane

Did you watch any of the longer videos? The ones with the commentary at the end? When Amanda makes the comment on Susan's gesture after Piers' comments, about her being like Eva Perone (sp?), it makes me want to see her sing "Don't Cry For Me Argentina" in the next round. Well, it is another great day here in WI (which is surprising for Memorial Day weekend) so I'll be out in the yard today.

Suz ran out to get some plants for the garden. I think it will be pack (and picked over) at the garden store today.
