Nice news for us Brits - we're starting to get more of the dollar to our £ again

I'm waiting to pay off the cruise balance til nearer the time, I'm hoping it rises a bit more

I believe they are "fixing" a root canal that was done. She has to go to a dental specialist to have it done. I think she will be ok a few hours after, but they specifically said to have someone drive her home. The specialist is in Groton, which is about 15 minutes or so away. If the procedure is over an hour, I may go over to the sub base and walk through the museum.

Chris do what Nancy and I do didn't want Root Canals so we went the Crowns and crows are a heck of a lot better than false teeth.

If they can issue tickets there, then yes, you should be able to pick them up there. We did Will Call for MNSSHP before and could get them at Guest Services in our hotel without an issue. No need to get them at the park.

Heather - I know that in 07 I lost our mnsshp tickets (still havent found them!) and I went to DTD guest services and she just looked me up on the pc and issued me some more so I'm sure they'd have the facility to do so

Shush Karen. Don't shout it too loud. We've been keeping our fingers crossed, touching wood and talking in hushed voices for the last couple of days, that the Pound stays where it is.

Oh for a crossed fingers or touch wood smilie at this point.

Just checking in for the evening. Grass is cut (had to finish what was started yesterday) and the clippings taken to the dump/compost site. Suz is finishing up back homework with DS, then leftovers from dinner last night and a little t.v.

What's everyone else up to?

Soccer practice, then to Mackenzie's spring music concert.

We will probably go to the waterparks on the 22nd before MNSSHP and then on the 31st if it is warm out. The night of the 31st will be DTD and then relaxing at the hotel.

Where are you staying on the 31st?

Not sure yet. We're thinking PO-R. This way we have the boat to DTD. It will be a mad house down there with the T-o-T they do.

But if there is a good discount on rooms, I may look into something in the Boardwalk area. Give us a different flavor in the evening.

Hows things at home and school Jen? Hope everything is going smoothly for you

Things are going ok....not as quickly as I'd like though. Our 3rd appointment with the psychologist (the appointment where we are going to sit down and come up with a treatment plan) was supposed to be on the 19th but has been posponed due to a family emergency for the psychologist. I don't blame her in the least, but I really want to get things "sorted" as you'd say. I have a meeting with the school psychologist and Thomas's teacher on Thursday, so we'll start getting things figured out for school hopefully too. In the meantime, I'm doing a lot of reading....trying to get some ideas. I'm having a bit of a hard time because I really don't want to start him on medication but a lot of the books talk about a 3 way approach to treatment which is behavior modification, parent training, and medication.

Ok, enough depressing talk....on the upside Mother's Day was pretty nice - they made a cute tote bag at school with a sunflower on it (using the kids' handprints for the yellow) and Thomas was so excited to give it to me.
