10/24/2009 Bash on the Boat (I'm with B.O.B) Thread #22

Wow, slow night and morning. I'm off to work early today. Have a conference call at 8:00, so I thought I'd go in around 7:00 today and get a few things done. The afternoon is shot again today.

Morning Jeff

Depending on the weather, we thought we might like to use some of of our free water park days. We haven't been to either TL or BB for some years. If the weathers not that great we might do a 3/4 park dash again on 22nd.

We will probably go to the waterparks on the 22nd before MNSSHP and then on the 31st if it is warm out. The night of the 31st will be DTD and then relaxing at the hotel.

That was our plan too. But if the weather's cool, I won't be going to the water park. Which one were you planning to go to?

The water at the parks is not heated (or if it is, it is not that warm). Can't remember if we've gone in late October ever or not. I know we did in early October with no problems, but the air sometimes is only in the 70's.

We usually go to Blizzard because it has more, but Typhoon has the "water coaster" now and we haven't tried that yet. Maybe we'll do both, but Blizzard for sure on the 22nd in case we only get to one park.

O.K., I'm now going to get ready. If I don't walk away from the computer, I will be here all day. Talk later.

The water coaster is fun. I also like the lazy river better at TL. There are certain things about each water park that we like. My older kids (that includes Rob) like BB for the more thrilling slides.

Like Team Boat Springs at BB, but not the slides. I also prefer the lazy river at TL as I don't like the freezing cold waterfall at BB.

We've been plenty of times in October but the weather can be very mixed. The water has always been warm enough, but if it's windy it won't be so nice.

Is Teamboat Springs the family raft ride? I can't remember which park has the one we like better. One park allows 5 in the raft and one park only allows 4, so the one that allows 5 is the one I prefer because we can ride all together.

Does anyone know if I can collect my MNSSHP tickets from Guest Services in DTD?

That's the one Paige and it allows 5 I think.

...wish I could help. I don't know the answer to this. Couldn't you get them when you check in? Last year when we did the HDDR, the tickets were waiting for us at check in.

No I asked this when I purchased them and we have to collected them from the Ticket and Transportation Centre at MK. I just wondered if you could collect them from any guest services. We had thought about walking round Boardwalk on the day we arrive and picking them up from the International Gateway GS or going to DTD GS.
