Thanks Bernie. It took quite a bit of effort - we had to get rid of loadsof half dead conifers and that other big tree, plus tons of rubble and rubbish. The previous owners used the garden as a dumping ground. They left behind an old rabbit hutch and bags of rotting food and mouldy old boots etc.
You could always make up nice pots instead of planting in the ground
Even small fruit trees can last up to 4 years in a pot if you buy a dwarf grafted variety![]()
oh I do the pots up.. just not the same when you "see" what you could do..lol
