hehehe you would be welcome ski season is practically over here now...so perhaps next year?

Sounds like a plan to me,do they teach the very little ones to ski over there?,in Italy they can barely walk before they teach them...

Hi everyone.....just a quick post to say my girl is fine. Ultrasound showed everything is clear. The doc says it's probably gastritis. She needs to take some meds for a few days and keep and eye on her diet. She is your typical teen with bad eating habits....always eating on the go...not enough "good foods"....too many hot pockets.....and she is so busy right now that I am thinking she has a little stress to add to it all.

She'll be fine though. This will be a good life lesson for her.

I am off in a little bit to tour the historical Marine Barracks at 8th & I in DC. I've seen the performace of the Silent Drill Team before, but this will be my first time on a tour. They'll also take us through the Commmandant of the USMC's house. I'll try to remember to take my camera. Would y'all like to see any pics?

Yes pictures please Paige. Oh yeh, great pictures Bernie. Great pictures of you and your husband. You reminded me of the time my daughter had to have stitches on her lip. She was put in a papoose bag so she wouldn't move. That sure was many moons ago. She was 3 and now she is 35. Hope you and Karen are feeling better. I had to play catch up this morning. I was real far behind. I had to watch the kids last night. Kristen had a work function. (the river parade with big wigs from her hospital.) Kids and I got to watch the river parade on tv. This is a big part of Fiesta in San Antonio. Fiesta is a 10 day party here. Lots of fun things to do for adults and children. Walt and I are planning on going to Disney World the 21st of October. We will ride the Disney bus to the terminal since we will be at All Star Music until Saturday AM. That means we will have to cancel the Radison. I will sure miss everyone there but it was more economical for us to stay at Disney value hotel and ride the bus. Plus I get two days of Disney before the cruise and two days after. Woo Hoo. I can't wait. Diane

boy, after yesterday, I coulda used a few. Got to a point where I had to tell my charge nurse that I couldn't take anymore patients because I couldn't adequately take care of the ones I had. Been a long time since that has happened!



WOW!

My daughter's ER has been crazy the last few days. She has had to go in and work. She loves it though. She does not get to work in the ER that much anymore since she is the director. Yesterday Walt and I drove over there to drop off clothes for her. There were 4 ambulances there and waiting room crowded and every bed was taken. She was running like a chicken with her head cut off.

Thanks Bernie. It took quite a bit of effort - we had to get rid of loadsof half dead conifers and that other big tree, plus tons of rubble and rubbish. The previous owners used the garden as a dumping ground. They left behind an old rabbit hutch and bags of rotting food and mouldy old boots etc.

You could always make up nice pots instead of planting in the ground

Even small fruit trees can last up to 4 years in a pot if you buy a dwarf grafted variety
