michael and courtney need advise about addison.
she doing a jeckyl and hyde thing every nite at bedtime. screaming, kicking.etc. (now we dont believe for a second that our sweet grandchild would do that)
he says its becoming a nightly thing.
robin told him" neither you or cassie ever acted like that"
courtneys mom told her "you were worse"

any advice on what to do?
courtney says 'i'm well aware of the "terrible 2's" but she heard that 3 is the new 2 so she fears another year and 1/2 of this.

cant help but laugh.
my dad always told us kids "you gotta pay your dues"

Blame Courtney. She has the genes.

Yes, the 3's are by far worse than the two. And they do grow out of it. However, at 9, we still get issues every now and then if there is something on TV.

Get into a routine so it is the same everynight. Don't have her watch TV because it will no relax her. Giving them a bath is suppose to help relax them.

If all else fails, Burboun or Vodka will do wonders. j/k

As long as she doesn't start spitting pea soup at them Maybe they should put her on the phone with Robin to talk some sense into her (notice I didn't say you!)

Maybe she wants a puppy!

Good morning/afternoon all....

I got some not-great news yesterday afternoon. DS had an evaluation and we have been given a diagnosis of ADHD (attention deficit/ hyperactivity disorder). I wasn't even sure I was going to post (I'd much rather talk about happy stuff) but I may need some cheering up in the next few weeks and my DIS pals are great at that!

So, any pixie dust you can toss our way would be appreciated as we figure this all out!

Hey - A mom who has dealt with it and a teacher who has dealt with LOTS of it- I may be able to offer you something. Please feel free to PM me.

We've been gone all day. Went to Kittery, on the Maine-NH border to meet my college roommate for lunch. It was a good time. Stopped at our favorite beach (York) on the way down & had a nice walk. Now I'll do my quotes.

I still like Mike, and also wish his brother Max could get on the show.

I like him too - I just didn't like his vote & the way his dad got him to do it after promising Kristin's mom he would take care of her. Maybe they could bring Kristin back & pair her with Mike's brother! Or with that other kid, Dan

One of my grandson's has ADD - my DIL had a really godd book. I ask her the title & let you know.

That would be cool! She would be so surprised. I asked him if he wanted to do it in private or in public. He wants to do something over the top because it is not like him to do anything like that in public.

I love this working from home, went to they gym, sat in the sun with the lap top- don;t twll my boss..... made dinner and watched some soaps.........even ran the vaccuum.

You call that working? Sounds more like retirement to me.
Walked on a beach today - York Beach in southern Maine.
