10/24/2009 Bash on the Boat (I'm with B.O.B.) Thread #21!

Hey everyone...I am finally home after a very LONG Palm Sunday. I can't believe it is almost 6:00 already. Where does all the time go???

Seafood would work for us. That is the one best thing about the east coast, all the seafood places.

When we went down to Charleston, SC, we went to a couple of different seafood places - really good again.
Funny story about Charleston seafood. My aunt and uncle took me on vacation with them when I was around 12 years old. We went to Isle of Palms, SC. Its an island suburb of Charleston, and we saw all of the sights of Charleston. They to this day, do not let me live down the fact that we went to a dockside seafood restaurant ( a lot like Grills) somewhere in that area and I ordered a cheeseburger. I was a kid, and thats what I lived on! :confused3 I don't eat much seafood now, but I like shrimp, NE Clam Chowder and some other stuff. Just last year when our family was together, we were at a large smorgasbord in PA and they brought that up yet again. Here I am, 35 years old and can't live down my childhood dietary choices! I am still quite picky, but my diet has broadend significantly.

That sounds like a good idea assuming our schedules match up. When will you be in NE? The NH coast is not very far away. Dan has a part time seasonal job in May & June & he works Wed thru Sun. When you get ready to leave home we should exchange phone #'s & we might be able to work something out. What about other New Englanders?

Naqncy
The next few months are busy for us, but speaking for myself, I'm up for it if I can fit into my schedule.

Sounds expensive Dawg!

I think Elaine has a few dresses and semi formal attire for dinner. Hopefully she won't be hitting the outlets in late summer.

thats a nice looking family.:grouphug::thumbsup2
Thanks! Whenever we dressed up, Elaine always insists on some type of wardrobe similarity and match up. It will be interesting to see what she is thinking this cruise. I am sure she already has in her mind what we are wearing for both formal nights.

She is funny about the cruise. She says she won't be excited until September. She can't get excited this far out. I can't figure her out! :confused3pirate::confused:

Here is a better one. I might send this one to Cass for the Who's going page.

Now if I made myself breakfaast this morning, I probably would have made PB toast.

As for burnt toast, we stayed over at my brother's the other weekend and for breakfast he made DS eggs and toast. Well, my brother likes his toast burnt and DS likes his barely cooked. Well, being nice, DS didn't say anything. The toast sat there until my brother asked him if it was too burnt.

Wonder if DS would have eaten it.

Evening Jeff. Don't have any plans yet, except to be lazy,DIS, and see what's on TV.

Evening Christian.

I'd like to just veg tonight as well, but I have my NY client's return to get done. Did my OH client this afternoon.

I'll be stopping by on the DIS every so often tonight.
