Phew!! I'm finally caught up. I hadn't been on since Friday afternoon so I was about 40 pages behind! Every once in awhile I'd stop and post. Now that I'm on page 76 it looks like no one else is here! Oh well, must go do some stuff anyway. Will check back later.

We are. Scott mentioned this seafood place that looks not that hot but is always SOOOOOO crowded and we hear great things about it. I was gonna call and see if it was pretty casual so we could be semi loud (like I know we will be). Let me know what you think.

Well folks we got Sean's results for his Sgt's test today. He placed 18th out of 36. He thinks he will be promote within the next year or so. I am very very proud of him.

Did you read the book Cass? I did and let's just say the ending is different in the movie. I actually heard people sobbing during the movie. We went on Christmas day.

Think that answers my question...perhaps I won't watch it with my MIL this Easter weekend then.

We have the dairy farms around here, a few of them. When the wind is right it smells a little "mooey" around here. We'll have to take those city folk Rick and Heather on a country drive so they can experience this too.

You wanna go to a grocery store that's not far from a water treatment farm. Boy, does the air smell foul at times, when they're stirring the water! Phew.

Yes, this will our first long trip to east coast. We made Milwaukee last August for 105th Anniversary.

Good morning everyone...I trust all is well in your various locations. It was a good night last night on the thread. I have been kicking around saying something and almost did last night, so here goes.

I have been booked on this cruise now since August 2008, and I want to say that I have felt very welcome getting to know everyone these last 7-8 months. Sure there are occasional times(very rare) when I do feel like an outsider, but that is to be expected since I was not on KK1, and haven't met any of you face to face.

On my last DCL cruise. I did post on the cruise meet thread but there was no formal introductions, no pictures shared, and no awesome Cass to build a "Who's Going" website! That thread was not really active. All that was said was, "meet by the pool at 3:00 on sailaway day. Well there were a few decent size groups by the pool that day, but I didn't dare go to each one and say, "are you a DISer???? Incidentally, I didn't meet any DISers on my last cruise which is a shame!

For this cruise that will not be the case. I feel like I really know a lot of you already and am looking forward to the DIS meet by the pool at the Radission, then in the terminal on Sailaway day. You all know what I look like, I know what you look like so it will almost be like a family reunion of sort.

So...I just wanted to say thank you to all of you for welcoming me into this group. It is going to be a new experience for me spending a vacation with not only family but 30 or so friends that I have been talking to for a year prior to sailing. That is going to make this a real special vacation!

Sorry to get sentimental, but I just wanted to share that with all of you!

I'm looking forward to the next several months of planning and getting to know more of all of you!

Hi Jeff. Finally caught up. Rick and I went shopping today and didn't home till 4pm. Then had a lot of tidying up to do, plus Wii exercising. Lost 2lbs this week - exercise 30mins every day and looks like its paying off. So, I only just managed to catch up.

They say, 30 minutes a day will do a lot for you. Plus, 2# a week is a healthy amount.

I hope to start back on the treadmill after tax season is over. I'll still have 6 months to do something (I hope).

Rick's also training on the Wii and is also doing well. Makes it easier, if you have someone to train with and compete against.

That sounds like a good idea assuming our schedules match up. When will you be in NE? The NH coast is not very far away. Dan has a part time seasonal job in May & June & he works Wed thru Sun. When you get ready to leave home we should exchange phone #'s & we might be able to work something out. What about other New Englanders?
