Sorry Kathy,
Nope, never worked in a cubicle.

But Rat Race was the funniest movie (remake of it's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad world), and I just can't seem to forget that reference:rotfl2::lmao:

Ok, so I have a juvenile mind.... potty brain....::rotfl:

i have to admit that Rat Race is one of those movies that I still pull out and watch and laugh.:lmao:

Oh I don't think they do that, but I will give it a try when we get closer. How many adults are we?

I am a deck 10 walker, so you are welcome to join me.

Megan and I want to go to brunch at Palo. Tommy and Jose will have male bonding time.:)

Rainy yucky day here today. We are under a tornado watch........

Stay Safe! It is rainy here too.

Tommy surprised me with a new set of golf clubs I had been eying since last year (he got them 1/2 price). I wanted to go hit a bucket of balls to get the feel of them but I guess it will have to wait until a better day. I will have to be content with the putter in the family room.

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

Thanks for letting me get that off my chest. I'll leave you all in peace for now.

Hi Brenda!

The other bad thing that happened to me is I was served court papers yesterday. I thought it was for something with my fire department but it was not. It is over a doctor bill from 2007, when my son was born. We had called our doctors office when we first received a 1400.00 bill, and we wanted to find out if the insurance paid there half. Doctors office said they would get back to us, but never did. So we thought the insurance company paid it off in full. Well they did not. So when I spoke with the debt collector today, she stated that we were required to appear in small claims court, if it was not paid off by April 3, 2009. I asked her if we could set up a payment plan over six months, and she said we could, but it would be twelve percent interest!! No way am I going to give them any more money than they are alredy getting. So I called the insurance company, and they stated that they paid 14,000.00, and it was our responsibility for the 1400.00. That would normally not be a big deal, if we received the bill in a timely fashion. Now it is up to 1900.00 because of a 200.00 filing fee and a 300.00 attorney fee. I was very upset, and still am, but it is not going to change, so I am making it happen. I came very close to cancelling due to this, but I know my daughter would be upset if we cancelled two times in a row, so we will still be cruising. We cancelled the first time due to the pregnancy, and now the bills. Lol. Fortunately we had not taken the 2000.00 we received in tax refund money and put it on the cruise, so we were able to pay off the stupid doctor bill. However, now we have a very tight budget to stick to to make ends meet. But we know what we have to do each week, so that we can make it. I am sorry this was such a long post..Just venting my mind. Thank you all.

:mad:That's terrible they would wait that long and then demand it and make you go to court!
I'd be so mad too. Of course you can vent here:hug:

So sorry for your bad news:hug::grouphug:

Do we want to do a girls only???? Roger could care less.

It does not matter to me. Roger can have pizza or chicken with Tommy and Jose. Tommy goes to Palo's because I guilt him into it. It is not his thing and Jose is a very picky eater so he did not think he would like it so Megan said she would be my date for the Brunch.

Well, am off for a couple of hours. I am heading to the gym and actually meeting with a personal trainer today for my "no obligation" assesment. Then I am off to the Food Bank to pick up some food for the Pantry. On Tuesday we served 36 families in one day. When I arrived here 4 years ago we were doing 20 families a month. These truly are tough times and we are seeing it in social services.

Chris does your wife work with you?
