Well here I am with my once a day post. Between working & grandkid time I've been rather busy. Working again tomorrow - a 1-on-1 with a very nice little boy who has survived several heart surgeries.

Amanda and I are doing the Oct 3 Western cruise instead of this one. We will miss all of our friends.

We will miss you too but I'm sure you'll have fun whatever you do. Keep in touch.

What feature do you hope is on the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy that is not on the Magic/Wonder?

I thought of 2 things but already have forgotten 1!! The one I remember is what many have said - a bigger or maybe another adult pool and more chairs at the pool. When I remember what the other one was I'll post it!!

The other bad thing that happened to me is I was served court papers yesterday. I thought it was for something with my fire department but it was not. It is over a doctor bill from 2007, when my son was born. We had called our doctors office when we first received a 1400.00 bill, and we wanted to find out if the insurance paid there half. Doctors office said they would get back to us, but never did. So we thought the insurance company paid it off in full. Well they did not. So when I spoke with the debt collector today, she stated that we were required to appear in small claims court, if it was not paid off by April 3, 2009. I asked her if we could set up a payment plan over six months, and she said we could, but it would be twelve percent interest!! No way am I going to give them any more money than they are alredy getting. So I called the insurance company, and they stated that they paid 14,000.00, and it was our responsibility for the 1400.00. That would normally not be a big deal, if we received the bill in a timely fashion. Now it is up to 1900.00 because of a 200.00 filing fee and a 300.00 attorney fee. I was very upset, and still am, but it is not going to change, so I am making it happen. I came very close to cancelling due to this, but I know my daughter would be upset if we cancelled two times in a row, so we will still be cruising. We cancelled the first time due to the pregnancy, and now the bills. Lol. Fortunately we had not taken the 2000.00 we received in tax refund money and put it on the cruise, so we were able to pay off the stupid doctor bill. However, now we have a very tight budget to stick to to make ends meet. But we know what we have to do each week, so that we can make it. I am sorry this was such a long post..Just venting my mind. Thank you all.

A similat thing happened to one of our sons a few years ago. He too got a collection notice including fees & interest on an old bill that he didn't know he owed. It's frustrating when they let something go for 2-3 years & then penalize you for not paying sooner.

Megan and I want to go to brunch at Palo. Tommy and Jose will have male bonding time.

Do we want to do a girls only???? Roger could care less.

That depends - are you thinking of only doing that one or doing another Palo brunch with the men. Because I think my DH likes Palo too but not at a girl time event!

Last nights supper at Cass's was awsome.. she made a chicken stir fry it was very yummy.. i am thinking of making a chicken lasagna with whole wheat noodles and a salad for next week

We are having such a bad thunder & lightning storm..... I am going under my desk!!!

Yes we had a bad thunder, rain and lightning storm here today too. I was a little nervous for the kids so I rushed to their house after weight watchers and lunch. They had a 1/2 day of school for teacher conferences. By three oclock Asiah and I went down to the walking trails. She rode her scooter through all the puddles. We called Elijah and he wanted to come and do it. They put on their old sneakers and had a ball. What a good gramma I am. teaching them to play in puddles. Then we went for a walk all around the trails. By the time we got back their friends were playing at the park so we stayed. We left at 715. They had a ball with all of their friends. Asiah on the playscape and Elijah playing basketball. My daughter lives in a nice sub division which has a community park and pool. It is really nice. I got home just in time to watch the last 1/2 hour of American Idol. Now I just finished supper and reading the dis. Diane

Yes we work together. Its a good thing and a bad thing. In The Salvation Army we are commissioned and ordained as a couple. Together we are in charge of The Salvation Army operations in our specific community.

But....my siggy is on the checks!

Sounds like a plan. We have to remember the Yankees might be in the World Series too, so I will spending a lot of time in Diversions.


Oh yeah, me too! Once last summer I came home for lunch. When I left the office it was clear blue sky. I got home, fixed a sandwich and not 5 minutes later I hear this huge clap of thunder. A severe thunderstorm literally formed right over our town. The radar was fun to see how it evolved from nothing to lots of orange and red. We had nickel/quarter size hail. The storm was really something. I know for you people in the south nickel/quarter size is nothing, but we don't get much hail up here in the north.

Our last cruise I watched the Red Sox play. It was alot of fun. Hopefully they will be doing the same thing. I know they lost to the Yankees in Florida a couple days ago. It was a close game until the grand slam. Diane

Well, I have a fun packed weekend planned......NOT!

Neils away in some lovely hotel (no doubt with Big Red before Dawg reminds me) while I do housework, homework, cook and then 4 hours at the school disco tonight

Tomorrow is equally enjoyable... taxi Ellis to and from venues while he does karate for 5 hours

On the positive side, my healthy diet has lasted a whole 2 days without cheating... That means I should have lost at least 20lb by now right?
