Big Red!

I LOVE it! :lmao::lmao::lmao:

:grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:

we were talking the other day about how when we were growing up, we'd ride our bikes to a nearby pond, fish catch frogs, etc. and spend hrs there. and we were only like 9 or 10 years old.:wizard::wizard:

no way you could leave the kids alone that long these days.:sad2:

As long as we went home when the street lamps came on :thumbsup2 oh yeah, and leave out the frog part, ewww!

i told her she could lighten the room up a little by putting a pancake on her head.:rotfl::rotfl:

You're really getting this pancake thing - not everyone does :confused3

We have a Drive In about 25 minutes away. We have thought about taking the kids one night, but just never got around to it. We may have to re-visit that thought.

You must have been talking with us Mike. We were just talking about Drive In theaters. There used to be a really big one about a block from where we live now. It's been long gone. But weren't those fun? Pile up all your friends and go to see three movies for the price of one? I couldn't even imagine the liability on something like that now. :upsidedow

When we were little, our parents would take us in our pjs and we would fall sleep in the back of the station wagon during the second movie. My Mom would make popcorn with tons of butter on it :thumbsup2

I have totally different memories from high school ;););)

oh yes. had to be home by the time the street lites went on.(i was a city kid)
robin didnt have street lites out her way. they must have been allowed to stay out all nite.:confused3 or at least in the barn.:lmao:

Nancy, I thought you had a ticker.:confused3

I deleted it when I decided to cancel the Serenity cruise in Oct 2010. I have to make a new one one day soon though.

We had the same rules Kathy. You should've seen all the kids running when those street lamps turned on! :lmao::lmao::lmao:

I was a city kid too Mike. But now there isn't a steet light to be found anywhere around here. It's one of the reasons we moved out this way. Small town feel. Almost like Mayberry. ;)

Just delete the words parents and popcorn with butter,right? :rotfl:
Same here Kathy. :lmao:

And my boyfriend had a Toyota Corolla, not a station wagon :rotfl2: I do remember some big time smooching. :love: But I can't go into any further details because it's only 8 PM on the East Coast :ssst:

"you mean i have to get used to these darn cricket noises and frogs every nite?" :laughing:

Well, I'm off to watch Dancing with the Stars. Rob's in San Diego until Wed night, so I can watch without hearing commentary--He doesn't like that show.

Y'all have a great night.:goodvibes
