she used to forbid us from going there.:lmao:(we went anyway)
we still have 2 drive in's by us.:thumbsup2

as i recall, ages ago, the dawg hid in the trunk of a friends car so we could save a few $$.:rolleyes1

Yes I remember people hiding in the trunk too so they could save money. The drive in was fun when my kids were little. We would bring drinks and food and have a grand old time. We would have a whole group of people go. It was a cheap fun night out. The only drive in that was in San Antonio closed a few years back. Walt use to have a fit when Kristen brought the kids. He was always afraid for them. It was not in the best section of town. Kids and Kristen really enjoyed it though. She did not go very often maybe once a year. She always felt safe. She was never afraid. You have to remember she works and sees all kinds in her emergency room. Diane

OK I am watching the season finaly of John and Kate plus eight... and the commercial for toddlers and tiaras comes on... wow... thats not right...how on earth would a 4 year old know she wants to dress up like that?... parents have mega issues...

Sad thing is I did pagents with Mackenzie for her first 2 years. I was not one of those parents but I left the pagents feeling horrible for those kids that had parents like that. It amazed me that 2 year olds were wearing makeup and hair pieces and had fake teeth.

Love the new avatar Rose:rotfl:

MEMO TO ALL STRIP CLUB MEMBERS:

Excess alcohol may lead to :scared1:

horrible local news story today of a man who was out walking with his dog and spotted what he thought was a small brush fire in a park.

Turned out to be a burning cat, what was left. It had been tied up also and the gas can nearby.

:sad1::sad1::sad1::sad1::sad1::sad1::sad1::sad1:

I hate those stories, they bother me more than human deaths sometimes because animals can be so defenseless and I'm sure they do nothing to justify their cruel deaths.

I'm glad that they made this crime a felony, and I hope they find the responsible party or parties.:mad:

Make Rosie the Judge......:rolleyes1

Just tell Chuck you have a headache.;)

After your experience dear i suspect Mr Tuna would have MG a A&E A.S.A.P.....:rolleyes1

Gotta comment on this one- I don't stand I defense of pageant moms either. By the time my daughter was 18 months old (a toddler), my husband could carry her through the toy store and she was reaching for play purses and plastic dress shoes. By the time she was 4, she had seen Disney princess movies and definitely wanted to dress up. Her 4th birthday party included a tub of dress up clothes and accessories. All her little friends loved it - well, except the little boy who came. Then we got out her brother's full armor of God tub, and he had a ball too! So - how does a 4 year old know she wants to dress up like that? Disney!!!!! Ariel was my daughter's first movie ever. She loved it. She was born in Nov. 1989 so she was very little when it came out!
