GOOD MORNING EVERYBODY

Nancy is off to sub today. So she has left me a list as usual.

When I do my Spring job in May at the Fish Way I will have to find something for her:lmao: :lmao: .

Everybody have a great day

Dan
PS weather Man say it should be in the high 50's today. BY BY snow.

Hey everyone...Finally home after a LONG day, but not feeling very well. The last couple of hours I have felt like I have been hit by a train. In the last 30-40 minutes, my throat has got scratchy. I am going to relax tonight and hope I wake up fine tomorrow.

I trust you are feeling better this morning Chris......

Great pictures Andy. Looks like another fun day. Walt and I have never been to Ron Jons or Grills. Hope to get there in October. That tuna sandwich looked yummy. Diane

It was DELICIOUS!!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I still have a few minutes left before I need to go in and charge my laptop battery again. I just added a few more pics to photobucket from our flight down last week. I think you will get a chuckle over the first two pics.

Good morning everyone.

As I told Andy a few minutes ago, I am feeling much better. I don't know what it was yesterday, but I felt terrible by the time 5 PM rolled along.

Fortunately, today is just a "normal" day for us. There are no evening programs. I like Wednesdays!!!!!

I'll be checking in throughout the day from work. Talk to everyone as I see you.

:surfweb: :rolleyes1 At work now. I am already looking forward to lunch. I don't know where I am going yet, but I am looking forward to it. I just had a thought. Maybe I will go to Fuddruckers at Foxwoods for lunch.

Since Nancy G ran out of Questions of the Day, I will get my creative juices flowing and take over. If MG doesn't mind...

What is your first memory of Walt Disney World or Disneyland????

I was 2 and a half my first time going and all I can remember is sitting in a stroller (one of those old blue ones) in Fantasyland and being kissed on the nose by Winnie the Pooh. I also had one of those cool Donald hats that squeaked when you squeezed the beak.

I have one for both. For Disneyland I was out visiting my Grandparents for the summer. My two uncles and girlfriends decided to take me to Disneyland. I was 6 years old. They called my mom for permission. And off we went. We were about 2 hours from the park. We got there when it opened and left when it closed 1:00am. I remember sitting on the steps to the train station watching the electric parade go by. We got back to my grandparents and all I heard for the next few weeks is how upset my mom was. She started calling at 6:00pm thinking I would be home to tell her all about it. She was so mad at my uncles for keeping me up that late.

Disney World. I have only been one time. I was 13. We ate in the castle for dinner. The butter they served for the bread was shaped like Mickey. I found it so cute and yet so hard to cut into it that I made everyone eat their bread dry.

Elaine goes to Rotary for lunch every Wednesday. She is a lot more of a social butterfly than me! I take Wednesday and go somewhere that I like. I am glad I remembered Fuddruckers. I haven't ate at the one at Foxwoods yet. A few weeks ago, we went to Johnny Rockets which is at Mohegan Sun. That was good too!

Our first trip to WDW was September 1983. Our group consisted of Hazel, my mom, my brother Pete(11 at the time), my grandmother, her sister Doris, and myself. We stayed in a Fort Wilderness Home for 8 nights at $95.00@night. Oh, to have those prices back.......

The whole trip was magical, we had heard so much about WDW especially since my grandmother had been going there nearly every year since it first opened in 1971. My grandmother and a few of her sisters made a yearly trek to Florida, I think that's why I fell in love with this place!!! :goodvibes

My first memory was of Disneyland. I was young probably about 7 or 8 (same age as my son) We were visiting from Illinois. My Dad was trying to decided if he wanted to move to CA. He took us to DL and I remember so many of the old rides that don't exist anymore. I distinctly remember him placing me on his shoulders and carrying me about the park. It was the only time I ever went with my father.

Having lunch here at the trailer (looks like BBQ pork sandwiches) before we head over to Walt's house later this afternoon. We kind of bought a bit too much food I think at Walmart last week. Going to have to leave some of it behind with my mom and Walt, then take home what we can, in our suitcases.......:rotfl:

It was when Erika my youngest daughter and I went to Disney World for the first time. (around 14 years ago) We were spoiled rotten by Walter. We stayed at the Poly and we did at least 3 character meals, Hoop dee Loop (sp), Lua. We were there for a week. Erika was going in the 9th grade and she really had a good time with all the characters. Then the second favorite was when we stayed at the Contemporary with Kristen my oldest daughter, Erika, Asiah and Elijah. Our balcony looked out to Magic Kingdom. It was Kristen's first trip to the world. We did it up well. It was great staying on the monorail. We went to at least 3 character meals, Luah, Ohana, Hoop dee Loop. Again another great trip. Forget it all our trips to Disney World were fantastic and memorable. We are always spoiled there and do whatever we want and eat whatever we want. Walt and I have stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge, Swan, Dolphin, Wilderness Lodge, Carribean Beach Resort, Pop Century, All Star Sports, Music and Movies. We have done it all. My last trip with Asiah and Elijah was fantastic too. We spent 7 days and did everything we wanted many times. Lots of fun. It was just me and the kids. We were special guests at the Garden Grill. We were first family of the day. The characters and waitresses treated us like royalty. Speaking of royalty we have eaten at the Cinderella Castle a few times. Very nice. Kids and Grandkids enjoyed. I could go on forever. Disney World is one of my favorite places in the whole wide world. Sorry for going on and on. I guess I really don't have only one memorable moment at Disney World. Diane

I agree - Brangelina:scared:

Johnny Depp:thumbsup2

I'm wayyyyy behind again... but I have to jump in and agree with the above!

I've been a Johnny Depp fan since "21 Jump Street"! and his original Jack Sparrow look was awesome!

Brangelina... ughh! Too much media coverage too. I'm at the "who cares?" stage!:confused3

I can't think of anyone to suggest personally...but my girls would love any of the Disney Channel stars, I'm sure!
